Knowledgeable and generous with advice
Dr Abend took the time to explain and recommended where to get additional care. Very knowledgeable and gave great advice. He listened well and helped come up with a plan. Highly recommend him!

Dr. Abend is amazing! I have severe lower back pain, went to my PCP and neurologist who both basically told me it was in my head because MRIs were negative. I switched primary MDs and me new one sent me to Dr. Abend. He LISTENED TO ME! which my old doctors did not! He did a full exam and knew what the problem was based off of his assessment. He then did an EMG which confirmed his diagnosis. He is very caring and really takes the time to listen to his patients. and has 30+ years experience!

Friendly and nice. Hours are terrible. Not very knowledgeable about autoimmune disorders and the pain that comes from them. I actually like him as a person but my pain is still here and progressively getting worse and Pain not managed at all. Non- steroids to steroids. Back and forth with no steady results. Only to feel better for a burst of time and then get 10 times worse after.

Dr. Abend's knowledge is so varied that he has helped me in so many ways. I'd had neck and back/feet pain for years prior to finally going to him for help. My quality of life has improved tenfold. Because he helped relieve my pain, I'm FINALLY able to sleep better and not be woken by my pains. I highly recommend Dr. Paul Abend to anyone I know suffering from pain. Being able to get an appointment within a few days of calling his very kind office staff is truly something I've been thankful for.
