Dr. Paul Alphonse, MD

Dr. Alphonse's quick decision-making, knowledge, and conservative surgery option saved my life. His bedside manner is quiet, knowledgeable, and humble. I have rarely had such a physician who took great pains to explain my condition and the surgery beforehand and to follow up with all of my questions afterward. He was reassessing my needs moment by moment to make sure I was tracking to the right treatment. I thanked him for saving my life and he gave God the credit, to which I said he was the instrument in God's hands. I am so grateful for amazing people like him who are angels among us.

I have never met a doctor more cold and arrogant than Dr. Alphonse. After waiting 45 mins past my appt time, he walks into the room, does not even look at me, walks straight to the keyboard and while looking down and beginning to type mutters 'what's going on?' While discussing my options he left the room to get his nurse to schedule a test. She comes back without him and I asked where he was since we hadn't finished our conversion and she said he was with his next patient. He did the same thing on a telehealth call, showing up 40 mins late, no apology and not even a proper greeting. His diagnoses and recommendations for me were refuted by both my new urologist and my endocrinologist. He wasn't even right. This guy seems to have some self-appointed God complex which is only further accentuated by his MBA and obvious need for either success, power or both.

Sees patients as a cash machine. Goes against national recommendations for treatment. Whose interest does he have in mind? Terrible bed side manner. I was suspect in seeing a doctor that has a MBA. He clearly wants to be in upper administration.

I would recommend him to my friends and family, he is very knowledgeable, very patient and will not push you into unnecessary tests or surgery. I wish all doctors were like him.

Dr. Alphonse worked on me as my wife and I were trying to have children. He diagnosed the issue, treated with no significant complication and I have two beautiful children now.
