Dr. Paul Aufderheide, MD

Gave me a cortisone injection in the wrong area because it did not provide any relief. Could not determine issue. I just learned it is a common issue, tarsal boss foot bump. 2nd podiatrist I same clinic was even less helpful. 3rd appointment, the technician presumed I was a different patient and had the wrong shot set up for the doctor to administer to me.

In 2023 I went to see dr. Aufderheide with moderate ingrown toenails on my left big toe and only very mild on my right big toe. I went along with dr. Aufderheide's recommendations and allowed him to cut into my toenail and 'kill' part of the nail base so that I wouldn't deal with ingrown toenails on those toes again. The result is that I now have deformed toenails, and may be possibly loosing the entire toenail. One toenail now has stunted growth. The other, the toenail that was only mildly ingrown, post procedure, now seems to be dying and peeling from the base... When I returned to get help from Dr. Aufderheide about these issues, his response was that I was having these toenail problems because I was getting older (I'm 59). I would NOT recommend Dr. Aufderhide.

I had dealt with chronic ingrown toenails with both big toes for many years. They would become very infected to where even walking was painful. I sought help from several different physicians and urgent care facilities, all without success and usually a lot of pain. Finally hooked up with Doctor Aufderheide, thank God! In one non-painful visit he "fixed" both toes and I have had zero problems since! Thank you so much, Doctor Aufderheide, you changed my entire quality of life!

Very pleasant, outgoing, easy to talk to, explained everything thoroughly. Very good outcome after Bunionectomy surgery. Toe not as straight as I had hoped, but it was very severe, so, this is probably as good as anyone could do. Definitely much better than before surgery. No more pain. Recovery was almost painless, narcotics not needed. I wonder if the multiple x-rays of foot were really necessary.
