I appreciated his candor and my husband and I were scared after urgicare sent me immediately to the ER for an ear infection. While I was in some bad pain, I also pictured being hooked up to iv antibiotics for weeks. At first I was anticipating the worst but he told us not to worry. He continuously reassured me he would have us back out that evening even though I was told to pack for a stay which was making me incredibly anxious. He came back several times assuring me I’d be ok and understood my previous history and fears and it felt so reassuring. He got me home that night as promised and that made me feel better. Ear still hurts but is open, less swollen and I can hear again with the meds. Way better than Friday when all I could do was squish it closed to feel better. He even made sure I had a note to get back to work today. Technically had finished my shift and wasn’t on this weekend. The note did help in excusing myself from work 30 minutes early on Fri. Appreciate you my dude and feeling better.

My experience with Dr. Barbara was disgusting. My father had pneumonia and a UTI, and dr, Barbara didn’t care. I gave him my number to call me, and he refused. Then I returned to the ER, and he got in my face, telling me that I was rude to him because I gave him my number when he was busy. I don’t see how giving a doctor contact info can be considered rude. Then when I tried to speak to him about his attitude, he walked away from me, and said that I wasn’t worth talking to. What a nasty person he is. Stay away from this Doctor.

This doctor treated me like an idiot when I came to ER with infection in my arm. He literally mocked me when I told him I thought I might have contracted a deadly bacteria and insisted on seeing infectious disease! In the end I was right. I had a flesh eating bacteria that was consuming my arm. If I followed his suggestion I would have ended up armless or dead! I fear for those who don't have the guidance I had from medical professionals in my family and listen to him!
