Dr. Paul Bates, DO

After seeing full waiting room and people walk out prior to appointment, I was skeptical of the front desk’s response that there would be no wait. I eventually got to a room waited another hour and left. Was rescheduled for an early morning appointment before 8 and waited a half hour and was leaving again when they called the doctor who was sitting in his office, not reviewing my chart as he said. Medical advice came only after I started questioning blood results. Better suited as a friend than a doctor

Dr Bates is amazing. When I visit him he is very personable and sits and converse with me about my health and life. He is great at what he does and I couldn’t have asked for a better physician

Dr. Bates is an impressive doctor. It was my initial consultation with Dr. Bates who took a considerable amount of time to understand my medical background and family history. He inquired about what my health goals were, answered questions I had very clearly, and gave me a very thorough physical examination. I very highly recommend him!

Dr Bates has a great bedside manner and thoroughly listens to his patients. I’ve been a patient for over 10 years and he’s the best at what he does. Hes’s honest with his treatment and advice. The office staff is great and friendly as always!

Waited approximately 30 minutes for a four minute visit. Also experienced a nurse telling me some disturbing things apropos of nothing. Also won’t see patients with GI issues.

He is a genius by paper, and down to earth in person. He is helpful and understanding and wants to help your needs and cares to understand. He has a very sweet staff and they care to see your comfortable . Wonderful ! Place :)

I have been going to dr bates for over25 years and he is awesome. He always takes his time with you and listens to what you have to say. He makes you feel good and treats you like your family. His office staff are very good and they have all been there for a while. That goes to show you that he treats his staff well.

Went for yearly check up. He reviewed my file, talked to me very thoroughly. I trust him very much.

I had an appointment at 7:45. I show up on time and they tell me Dr. Bates is not coming in today. No one called in advance to reschedule. That's bad enough. Eventually his office called to apologize and reschedule. I come in at 8:30 for my 8:45 appointment. Dr. Bates made me wait until 9:45 (an HOUR wait) I got up without being seen and told his staff that other people's time is valuable too, and I won't be coming back.

I have been going to Dr. Bates for about 20 years. He takes his time, gives realistic goals until the next visit, and the staff is very attentive too!
