Having issues....felt like just another number
Truthfully, I felt like just another number. No concern for after me after surgery at all. Not from the actual Dr anyway. I saw the actual Dr only ONCE & that was the day of my surgery where I am sure he had many lined up. I have a leg limb difference that is affecting the way I walk. Had to make an appt with physical therapy as I did not know what else to do since I have not spoken with the actual dr since that day of surgery & I am almost 8 weeks post op !

Very Satisfied
Dr. Courtney has given me treatment options for my condition, when other doctors pushed for revision surgery as my only option. Eventually, I will have the surgery but this plan has worked great and could not be more satisfied. He listens and communicates his prognosis and treatment plan in a way that you can understand.

looks good on paper
I would not recommend this doctor. Fifteen months out and my leg is still numb even as nerve pain continues to shoot from mid thigh to the bottom of my foot. He denied early complications and canceled my one year check up.

Outstanding Surgeon
Dr. Courtney did a reconstruction on a previous knee replacement by a different surgeon of 22 years ago. I was nervous but he calmed my fears by listening to my concerns and explaining in detail the entire procedure. The surgery was a complete success and I was up and around almost immediately. My recovery was swift with minimum pain and no issues. I will certainly see him again when my other knee requires reconstruction in the future. I cannot praise him enough!

Excellent!
Dr. Courtney is a great doctor in that he takes time to explain everything and has a very reassuring presence. My mother-in-law had extensive hip repair surgery with Dr. Courtney and he was excellent.

Excellent surgeon!
Dr. Courtney found my pain was due to the metal ball disintegrating. He replaced the metal with a ceramic one. He then found he had to replace the lid as that was destroyed by the metal. I have had very little pain Dr. Courtney is very caring and compassionate. He is the surgeon if you need a hip revision.

Great doctor
Had a great deal of pain after falling down and breaking left hip but did not heal well do to other co morbidity’s. Dr Courtney did a second procedure and got me out of pain

I had a serious pelvis break, requiring a very complex surgery because I already had a prosthetic hip. Dr. Courtney is top of his field, personable, kind and provided a restorative surgery that will enable my best recovery. I felt extremely lucky to be referred to him. Rothman Institute has always provided excellent care for me and the many people I have referred. Uniformly five star service. Well worth the 4 hour trips from my home. This level of care is not available anywhere near my home.

Dr Courtney did a knee revision surgery on my right knee in Jan.2021. Although it has been a rough rehab, as most knee revisions are, Dr. Courtney is an excellent surgeon. Had it done @ Jefferson center city Philadelphia, I'm 7 weeks post-op, and getting better by the week. I also would like to mention Dr Courney's P/A who was very helpful throughout recovery.

Just had hip replacement from Dr. Courtney at rosh in Bensalem. I simply cannot say enough about the care, treatment and outcome provided by Dr. Courtney and the staff at Rothman. This is my second go around with Rothman and their surgical teams as they preformed major back surgery in 2018. 10 stars would be more appropriate but I'm only allowed 5
