Dr. Curtin was my PCP for over 20 years, and I was very happy with his knowledge and excellent advice/care. We had an great doctor/patient relationship. Then he got a new medical assistant who I found to be very rude. I mentioned this to him and he agreed wholeheartedly, but said she did her job. She was aware that I had complained about her and began telling Dr. Curtin that I was calling, being rude and cussing at her. All this when I had never even called. Rather than him asking me about this, he told me to stop being rude to his assistant ! and dropped me as a patient. I find his behavior very odd and extremely unprofessional, and for this reason would not recommend him.

He is the absolute best! He is always upbeat caring and best of all he listens! Truthful answers, even if you are a complicated case or not. Lol I have many doctors caring for me. Dr. Curtin is one of the top doctors I have. If you get him as your primary doctor he will not disappoint.

Dr Cutrin has been my primary doctor, and my wife's, for the 20 years we've been in town. I could not imagine a better doctor. He is an outstanding communicator, and that includes being an outstanding listener, with deep respect for his patients. He's also, like me, a comedian. When I first saw him after abdominal surgery and a 17 day stay in hospital (the surgeon expected 2-6 days), Paul's first comment was, "That'll teach you to talk to doctor's about your problems, huh?" He is as down to earth a straight shooter as you could ask for. True, he kind of mishandled my diabetes care, but as soon as it was clear his idea wasn't working, he sent me to the best endocrinologist I've seen in 40 years of this disease. The man cares, and is a human being, not an arrogant schmuck like some doctors. Highest recommendation.

Seemed like he was in a hurry. Dismissed my concerns, offered no follow up advise. Didn't get any resolution for my health problems.

I have been a patient of Dr. Curtin's for over 25 years. In this period I thought Dr. Curtin's behavior was erratic at times and lacking patience. Recently I reported that I my father had died and that I had experienced some chest pains at the time. His response was not calm and measured, but instead he was upsetting. I found this especially concerning since I had been grieving for my dad. He provided no follow-up activities. After this experience, I would not recommend as a doctor.
