Dr Donovan has been my Doctor for almost 20 years. Through my year of Chemo plus all my subsequent follow-up treatments I have found that he always remains up to date on new treatments and continually collaborates with other experts all in an effort to give the patient the best care that is out there. I spent 2 months in the hospital unrelated to cancer and he was there almost “EVERY day” even though he was not my primary doctor who performed the surgery. He acted on my behalf to monitor my blood and ordered needed transfusions when it was necessary. He was the one my husband and I turned to for answers during those difficult times. Now that my breast cancer is back after 19 years, the only one I would even consider consulting with is Dr Donovan. He is extremely knowledgeable, straightforward, and takes the time to explain. I can tell you that he is one of the hardest working Doctors I know and he 'always' puts his patients first!!! His staff over the years have always been competent.

Saved--and is saving--my life, 12 years into treatment. As a bonus, the doc is one of the most pleasant guys I know. I have to put in a good word for his nurse, Mary, who always manages to turn up to say hi. The staff in both the lab and at the front desk are tops, too. All told, I always look forward to my quarterly visits and always leave with a smile. It's the people, people!

Do not go here. I work in healthcare & have worked with a lot of doctors with egos, however, this man goes beyond ego - he simply has no compassion whatsoever. He gets immediately defensive when he feels the family / patient are criticizing him, & talks over you / doesn't listen. Oncologists should have some level of bedside manner and compassion, & he doesn't. My Dad's care improved significantly when we switched oncologists. Don't put your loved one through this - pick a better person.

Made my Aunt, in her weak state, come into his office twice when her biopsy results were not even at his office. He is a poor excuse for a doctor. Don't go to him.
