Dr. Paul Dunn, MD

Before scheduling I was told to be early for my appointment as Dr.Dunn was “very particular” about his schedule. I arrived 30 minutes early in case of traffic. I was not seen until 20-30 minutes AFTER my scheduled appointment time. Once inside the room I spoke with the nurse about my concerns. Dr. Dunn rushed inside the office after a few minutes and immediately questioned me about my symptoms and once I said I didn’t get hives he immediately dismissed everything I was trying to tell him. He was incredibly rude and I was on the verge of tears while he belittled me and my symptoms and brushed it off as eczema, which I noted I have which seemed to have been a mistake. Last I checked eczema doesn’t cause every part of my body to itch when I come into contact with water and prescribed me eczema cream. I was not happy. He spent all of 5 minutes in the room with me, and disregarded all of my concerns. I do NOT recommend him to anyone. Horrible first experience at a dermatologist.

First time and last time I seen Dr. Dunn. My paper work and initial call told what I needed to be done. He came in briefly and after a very quick evaluation said that I would have to come back . all the bumps he looked at he said they were fine. I had a cyst on my back which takes 5 minutes to remove and he told me to make another appointment I had come in to have them removed.He said they would just come back. I have had these removed before with a first visit to another dermatologist. He was milking the situation in my opinion. I told him I would not come back. My total time spent with the Doctor was approximately 5 minutes.

Dr. Dunn is a great doctor. You can trust his judgment, and his expertise on how to treat your condition. If you call and have questions, they call you back the same day. Their office is friendly and has excellent communication. He listens to you, and is spot on with what your health concerns may be, and how to treat them without hesitation. I've been seeing him for about two years at this point, and has helped me a great deal. He has my highest recommendation!

I have little desire to see a doctor and it has been 17yrs since my last visit (back in VA). I'm of the mindset of 'heal thyself' for most conditions, and I have little patience for the time involved with medical processes. In this case, a cyst, possibly worse, needed immediate care beyond home remedies. Doc Dunn took all of 15mins to assess and describe the procedure needed to return my skin (rt cheek) back to normal. Doc was precise and wasted no time. He asked questions on my health history and lifestyle, indicated prices associated with paying out-of-pocket, and was extremely accommodating. My 1st appt was on Tue, and my outpatient surgery was 3 days later - Friday. In the unlikely event further dermatological care is needed, I will return to Doc Dunn without hesitation.

Awful overall experience. Dr. Dunn didn’t listen to me and acted rushed and bugged when I ask him to clarify something with the medication he had prescribed. He has a horrible bedside manner and I would never recommend him to anyone.

Dr Dunn is excellent doctor, very knowledgeable, helpful and considerate. Gives quality recommendations. Was able to determine needed treatment for skin issue with successful outcome.

Spent a good deal of time listening as well as made multiple suggestions for my care. Wait time was almost non-existent. Every employee very courteous.
