Dr. Paul Fanning, MD

Horrible experience. Brushes you off..acts like you know nothing about basic health... doesnt listen to the fact you have severe issues and pain... and he doesnt check your chart so make sure you remind him. Told him I had my thyroid tested and it was fine. Made me test it again, oh look it's fine. I dont feel he sees me as human. More just another box to check off and brush away

I came to him with a painful ovarian cyst and he did not want to remove it, he did not offer me any medicine to help ease the pain either or suggest any alternate course of treatment to deal with the cyst. He basically acted like I was bothering or inconveniencing him just by asking him to do his job as a doctor. He had no answers as to what I'm supposed to do about this medical problem or how I'm supposed to deal with the pain.

His bedside manner, attention to detail and compassion are lacking. He obviously does not check your chart before walking in to see you — when I was in my last few months of pregnancy, I would have to remind him of what he told me on the last visit. Maybe he is burnt out, but he seems to be lacking the ability to be personable in the least. He also keept me waiting for well over an hour at every single appointment. Then, another 30_44 minute wait in the exam room. This was every single time

Dr. Fanning is one in a million when it comes to finding a great surgeon. I drove 2 hrs. to fine a good gynecologist to do my surgery @ i found one of the best. His office/staff are very friendly@ courteous.

Excellent doctor. I have had several OBGYNs, in fact each of my children were delivered by a different OBGYN. Dr Fanning delivered my last baby. My husbad and I both appreciate Dr. Fanning's composure and ability to act under pressure. If was an unusal pregnancy to us, but Dr. fanning made sure that everythig was alright and always made us feel reassured and confident that our little baby was healthy!! Delivery was AMAZING AND EASY!! Thank you Dr. Fanning!!

My first-born was a premature baby. I did a lot of research and asked around in my search for a knowledgeable obgyn in Tyler that would help me avoid having another preterm baby. I could not have made a better choice. Dr. Fanning really invests his time, heart, and expertise in caring for his patients. He will be there for you every step of the way unti you give birth. His nursing staff is also as efficient. I cannot recommend him enough.

Don't waste your time. He doesn't care about you or your situation. Find a provider that will take interest in yours and your baby's health.

Dr. Fannin was so very nice and knowledgeable. I just love him and his staff
