My initial visit was great. He took the time to get to know me and hear me out, carefully examined my throat and such. He let me know the plan for next time to take a closer look if I was still having issues. However, he didn’t follow through with those plans on the next visit. The conversation was rushed and brief, maybe seven minutes. I didn’t get to say much. I know doctors are very busy. Given the rising cost of co-pays (mine’s the equivalent of almost two weeks of groceries), I wish there was a way to know in advance how many minutes are allotted for the appointment, roughly what it will cover, and if there will be time for questions. Since the last visit was a brief conversation with no examination, it could have taken place virtually, which would have drastically reduced my co-pay and saved me the bus ride.

GREAT DOCTOR! Very friendly and always remembered who you were. Was disappointed when I was no longer allowed to go to him due to Obamacare.

Dr. Fortgang performed what was supposed to be a one-day surgery on my daughter, who was six at the time, seventeen years ago. The surgery was very successful, resulting in many, many years of relief. You may have to wait in the office but that just means if you need extra time, you will get it. People are not cars, they are far more complicated. You want your outcome to be tailored to your needs - not to what is the norm for the "average" person. Dr. Fortgang is a true medical practitioner..

Dr. Fortgang is the friendliest doctor I have ever met. This makes your office visit so much more relaxed. He is very thorough in his exams and listens to your questions and concerns. He also personally calls you back if you have a question which most doctors don't do anymore. I would highly recommend him to anyone.
