Needs to explain all side effects of surgery
Some years ago I had the uvula cut out of the back of my throat at that time Dr Juengel ask if I wanted the the back of my throat trimmed up as well and that if I did it would help me breathe better at night. Not knowing any better I said sure if it would help so he cut my uvula off extremely short and tightened the back of my throat. Every sense I get choked about every day of my life and cannot drain my sinuses with the suction from your throat anymore, and when eating food with the uvula cut so short the food comes back through your nose at times. When I mentioned these things to him he said unfortunately that is a side effect of having this done, but when I asked before he'd done it, if I need some of the uvula and what was it for, he stated they used to think it was for a gag reflex but they found out it was not anymore, That's all that was said to me. If I knew I had to live like this I'd have never had it done, to late now. All side effects should be explained to a patient.

Awesome, caring Doc!
A true professional who wants to help. Dr. Juengel Is helping me with allergies and sleep apnea due to physical issues in my nose. Within a couple of months we confirmed what we had to do via CT scan and went in for surgery. I’m looking forward to this recovery. I’m feeling better.
