Dr. Paul Lanfranchi, DO

I had a “deep plane” face and neck lift and chin implant. Dr. Lanfranchi only uses one brand of implants and the one he chose for my face is too wide.I thought it was swelling at first and gave it a full year before other plastic surgeons told me that the device he picked was much too wide. Dr. Lanfranchi’s solution was to offer to remove it for $5000. The neck lift didn’t have any result at all. The platysma bands are exactly the same. The facelift portion was a slight improvement, but at the SMAS level and not the deep tissue so my nasolabial folds are exactly the same. I followed up regularly and waited a significant amount of time to see the final result before making a judgement. For the prices he charges, the results are underwhelming. He also doesn’t use surgery centers so everything is done under local anesthesia, but the pricing doesn’t reflect the lack of accommodations.

I was optimistic, but he did very little & had several excuses for why I was disappointed. As a healthcare professional I would not recommend.

Horrible experience. After paying for face and neck lift I went back 3 times for correction of the turkey wattle and jowls not fixed. Lanfranchi at first tried to talk me out of fixing what he didn’t fix; then offered to charge me $6K to fix his poor work. I told him I expected him to stand behind his work & he then offered a $250 discount. I left for obvious reasons & went to another doctor who fixed me and I’m now happy with my appearance. Bad taste in my mouth from my experience with Lanfranchi. I’ll never go back or refer friends to him.

FIVE STARS! My cheeks had lost most of their volume and my neck was beginning to show tell-tale signs of aging. I was afraid and hesitant to go to a surgeon. Then I found Dr. Paul Lanfranchi's web page. Based on the five-star reviews, I met with Dr. Lanfranchi and thought him to be a very fine medical professional. His staff is also pleasant, professional and patient. Dr. Paul-as he suggests being called, demonstrated what would reasonably be accomplished by surgery. My decision was final. Dr. Paul was the one. I am writing this six weeks after my surgery and I continue to be in awe with the skill, medical and artistic genius of Dr. Paul. Except for my husband, friends are not aware that I've had any cosmetic surgery. My husband tells me every day that I look great and the improvements to my face and neck look very natural. I initially scheduled my procedure in 6/2016 but had to postpone it due to my husbands death. The doctor and his staff were extremely understanding and caring. I just had my procedure done today and Dr Lanfranchi is an artist! His surgical ability is unprecedented and his bedside manner, perfect! His mid procedure explaination is extremely comforting.

Not enough accolades for this doctor and his staff! Professional yet warm and accepting. I made an appointment after a botched facelift.. Doctor Lanfranchi made me feel whole again and I thank him for his skill. Would not hesitate to recommend this establishment!

I went to see Dr. Lanfranchi and was planning to have him perform my procedure but developed health issues that prevented me from proceeding at the moment. They were very understanding and put no pressure on me at all. I have been researching for about 7 months and have visited websites. No doctor's gallery can compare to his. When I am able to proceed with surgery, I still want him to do it. My only suggestion is that there is more contact with Dr. Lanfranchi and less with his staff.

The best advertisement is by word of mouth. Prior to meeting my husband 1 year ago he had a necklift with an amazing result and highly recommended Dr. Lanfranchi. I live in CA it was definitely worth traveling for!
