Great care!
Staff friendly and helpful. I’ve been seeing Dr Piper for 5-6 years, and am appalled at some of the negative reviews. I found him to be friendly and funny and he spent appropriate time with me. I’ve seen Michele also and liked her too. Last visit I saw his new PA at Vision Park and was super impressed. Lab tech and nurse were also great. I’ve been getting infusions for osteoporosis for years at Dr Pipers office as well as monitoring thyroid nodules. I feel like I’ve been well cared for.

RUN FOR YOUR LIFE!
Let's see, first visit he did not fill all of my daughter's medications, without which she will have seizures and die. 80 zillion messages later, we finally got the medicine. Currently we have called and left messages, and used the crazy text thing to make her appointment for her refills for THREE WEEKS. NO ONE EVER ANSWERS, TEXTS BACK, OR CALLS BACK. EVER. Now she has only a few days of medicine left. I guess I will go to the ER and beg for her medication to save her life. Also, when they respond to reviews and leave a number to call them and rectify a situation... GUESS WHAT?! You got it!! Back to the phone tree, leave a message, send a text and NO ONE RESPONDS. I'm going to file a formal complaint. Period.

Disappointed
I was referred to Dr. Piper's office and first saw his associate in December at which time I was prescribed a medication to be administered in their office. Instead of receiving the medication at my second visit in February as promised, and with NO apparent purpose for such visit other than to charge another $125 (my share), I was told that I would need to return again for the medication and yet another charge. I am very disappointed at their disregard for my time and the apparent "gouge" of monies from me and my insurers.

My daughter was in the hospital last weekend and was supposed to see Dr. Piper, the doctor on call. We were told he would be there on Sunday ... no one came! Then Monday he was called and we were told he would be there that morning. Needless to say, he never showed up. About 3:00 that afternoon the nurse finally called again and we were told his PA would be coming. By 5:00 she was discharged and the PA walked in the door. He didn’t seem very concerned about her hyper thyroid condition and heart rate issues, called in a prescription and said to make an appointment in the next month. We wasted 2 days and countless amount of money in the hospital waiting to see this doctor.

I went here since there was an opening and other endocrinologists in the area had a 3-5 month wait. BAD move. My new patient appointment lasted all of 3 minutes. It was so fast I actually asked the tech/nurse who was in the room after he walked out if all new patient visits were so short. Seriously, a walk-in clinic for a general ailment gives more attention/listening than Dr. Piper. Then, after my visit, I find out insurance considers him a primary care dr vs specialist. I wouldn't even return as a primary care, much less for specialty needs. He did not seem to care about my health, did not appear interested in listening or reviewing my past history of medical paperwork I brought. His office staff was nice, which was the only positive I can give here.

I am a new patient of dr piper .... funny comments made by staff & doctors about my condition really do not sit well with me. While I know I have fallen off the wagon with taking my med & tracking, the crazy comments have me worried. What has me researching is - called in to report major cramps & bowl discomfort- was told to reduce med & take them at night ... this made sense to me but the conversation ended with -this way You’ll sleep through the cramping....really? What kind of sleep are we taking about!

He was great at his previous location off 1488. I don’t know what happened to his staff but the caliber of people from the receptionist to the doctor leaves you wondering why they allow people who are suppose to make you feel welcome and cared for are even there. I have yet to speak to the office manager. I left her a message when I was still a patient of Dr. Piper’s and since then I have left her 3 more messages requesting that she send my medical records to my new endocrinologist! Whose staff is friendly & helpful and the doctor listens to your concerns. Doesn’t just adjust your meds and sees you in six weeks. The end for me was my last appointment I told the doctor some of my concerns with my health and he started examining my neck while I was talking!!!! Never addressed ANY of my concerns. And when you go for labs at their facility, the person never looks up from her desk..keeps writing and typing on her computer and very abruptly says sit down. Finally, gets you & bruises my arm.

Absolute worst medical experience of my life, stay far away from this doctor. I saw Dr. Piper for a question about my cortisol levels as my primary care physician mentioned they were high. Dr. Piper said his practice doesn’t work like normal places and he looks at basic things like Vitamin D and calcium. He refused to treat me or even look at my bloodwork without first doing basic bloodwork for him. The office is dirty and it smelled horrible. Something majorly wrong there.

This man is immature arrogant. Had to file charges on him for grabbing my arm because I wanted my paperwork back so he couldn't charge my insurance because he did nothing. He told me to leave if I didn't want to answer questions. We spend 30 minutes filling out paperwork so they know our history. And I gave him a report from the hospital. He didn't even take 2 seconds to glance at them. I hope the judge fines him and makes him go to patience treatment course.

Very knowledgeable and experienced. His answers were to the point and informative. He may not always volunteer every alternative but if you ask him to elaborate or for additional treatment alternatives he will always take the time to advise you of the different possibilities. His treatment recommendation has stabilized my diabetes more than any other physician. The office staff in Magnolia and also Tomball could benefit from use professional direction.
