Great Doctor
I have been going to Dr. Spezia for several years now for knees and thumb artheritis. I love his attitude and personality and he is very upbeat. I like that he walks you through all your options and leaves surgery as a last option. I have not had him do surgery on me yet, but when the time comes, after exhausting all other methods, I am sure to go to him for it.

Dr. Paul Spezia is an outstanding doctor.
My family and I have have been treated by Dr. Spezia when we have had orthopedic issues over the years. He is extremely knowledgeable, professional, and has provided great medical treatment. He has been able to successfully diagnose and treat our issues. He is very good at explaining issues in a way a patient can understand. He is empathetic, listens, and does an effective job at answering questions. I would highly recommend him.

Poor Bedside Manner
My husband is a disabled USAF vet, who visited today 8-2-23. I am a veteran in healthcare. Nurse with a BSHCA. Patient advocacy is 100% my game. However, that doesn't mean I enjoy receiving calls from my husband stating the Dr he didn't choose to need, treated him poorly. I will be in the next appt. I look forward meeting Dr Spezia and helping to remind him our patients deserve better.

Suffered from "trigger finger" on both hands. Following a visit with Dr. Spezia, a shot at base of finger, and 10 days of oral medication, the problem disappeared and I now can grip with force. Excellent results - A+!

I had trouble with my knee for years. It constantly dislocated (multiple times a year). I had trouble getting other medical professionals to take me seriously. Dr. Spezia listened to me and heard me. He suggested non surgical therapy first as he knew I was hesitant. However, we ended up needing to do surgery and he did an amazing job. 6 years post and I have had ZERO dislocations. I highly highly highly recommend him.

Have RA and my hands were in agony. After Xray of both hands the RA had fused most of the carpal bones. Dr Spezia was able to inject a steroid which not only gave my one hand with a cyst relief, he actually helped my whole body. Best I have felt in two years. Thank you Doctor Spezia.

Dr. Spezia was absolutely terrible. He dictated his notes during the appointment and made it impossible to ask him questions. He rushed me during my visit and I did not receive satisfactory responses from him. He also unnecessarily would grab and bend my swollen painful finger. I would cry out and he wouldn't stop. Absolute abuse of power. Would absolutely never go back there.

I've been to Dr. Spezia for two injuries and just had my shoulder done. He helped me through the process of pt and surgery and has been great. Dr Spezia and his staff are very friendly and nice.

Felt very rushed each time I had a visit. Twice missed a torn meniscus diagnosis. He did my meniscus surgery in 2014 after first missing the diagnosis now two years later it's torn again. And again he Missed the diagnosis

I would definitely recommend Dr. Spezia. My experience was very positive. I had Total Hip Replacement 6 weeks ago by Dr. Spezia and his treatment was excellent. He is very caring and thorough and always makes me feel confident in my recovery.
