Dr Tapia helped me to turn my life around and take control over my decisions and relationship with food and myself. We’ve been working on our goals for me for 15 months and I’m nearly where we both agreed on. I knew with his confidence, guidance and support that this day would come. His encouragement saw me through some stressful times but we stayed the path!! I have to say also, the staff is exceptional! The whole office is a well oiled operation. Dr Tapia is great. Upfront about weight loss and will always tell it like it is. His medical assistant Sammie however is awful. Rude, unhelpful in every way. Unprofessional in her actions and appearance most days. Came in one day and she had on flip flops with chipped off toenail polish...yes it matters. You work in a doctors office, be clean!! if it were not for my great like of Dr Tapia, she would be enough to not go back there. The rest of the staff is wonderful. One bad apple.

Dr. Paul Tapia has been helping me with my weight loss journey tremendously. I started a couple months ago starting at 263 pounds it is now October and I’m down to 237. He makes your weight loss goals reasonable. He helps you with your eating habits on what to do and what not do. Always open ears when I express my problems and concerns with him. He keeps me motivated every time I go to my appointment he’s always excited and happy for me and tells me I’ll get down to my goal weight in no time. I would highly recommend him to any and everyone.

Today Dr.Tapia was honest with me. He cares for his patients and is there to help us with our issues. He pulls no punches.His moral support is genuine. He tells the truth even if we don't want to hear it. I wish I could afford the bariatric surgery,however I can't, wrong insurance. Working to get the weight off, gives motivation and I think I'll appreciate the effort more. Its just going to be harder for me. If you can handle the truth and want to lose weight then hes your Dr.

Dr Tapia has been treating my son for obesity. He is patient with us, really talks to him, and gives him great advice with an easy to implement plan. We are focused on helping my son maintain his weight until he hits is growth spike in the next few years. Great advice is provided and doesn't require him switching to 'diet' food as this is not realistic for a 14 year old! Great doctor and recommend him for children as well as adults!
