Dr. Paul Termini, MD

Went to this guy to potentially treat a rare neurological disorder known as HPPD which is a non psychotic perception disorder caused by drug use. Was expecting for him to try a more well known med to treat it like Lamotrigine or Levitracetam which have studies behind it first. Instead he put me on a anti psychotic which only stabilized it and made me slowly become numb to life, unmotivated and feel restless only because it was very profitable for him. Even after self treatment with neuropeptides and discontinuation I still have minor issues. To make things worse, he ignored my Akathisia aka Restlessness and brain fog and blamed lack of enjoyment of life all on me instead of even considering the med doing it. Made me lose trust in Psychiatry all together. Please avoid.

Dangerously dismissive. Interrupted, talked over, and berated a child. Mismanaged meds. I wish we had done a background check before trusting his judgment!

Terrible. His one and only focus with patients is on their medication and he puts in the BARE minimum of effort with that. I am currently looking for another doctor for my daughter because there has to be a better psychiatrist out there than Dr. Termini. He's your basic pill pusher and don't trouble him with any of your problems or issues. That's someone else's problem, not his. That basically sums up Dr. Termini's approach to psychiatry.
