Dr. Paula Belmar, MD

the Doctor is very busy and it's a challenge to get an appointment with her. However, we are very pleased with my experience with Dr. Belmar and staff. We have always been able to talk to the Doctor Belmar and get our problems resolved. Very nice and helpful in explaining how to take the medicine prescribed, the medicine was called into my pharmacy (express Scripts) and it was ready to be sent immediately. Please do not pay attention to the 3, 2...lower stars.

Dr. Belmar use to be a good doctor. It is hard to get an appointment with her when needed. When you get test results done you never hear back and have to call to find out what is going on. When I do see her for a yearly exam she asks what are you here for. Shouldnt she know that when I come in? I am asked what medicines do I take. She prescribed them to me, she should know what I take! All my records should be in the computer but I have to tell her every time my past history. Time to find a new doctor.

I first met Dr. Belmar when she was the visiting physician for my husband who was hospitalized. She has a calm and reassuring demeanor and is willing to listen when a patient speaks. She referred to my husband to several other doctors because he has a lot of problems, and each visit yielded results of better health for him.

Dr. Belmar has been my doctor for 16 years. She is the best doctor I have ever had. She cares about her patients, she listens to your issues and does not rush you out of the office. She will try and exhaust all avenues before sending you to a specialist. She is very very thorough with her work. She is very professional and adds her own personal touch with her patients. She cares about people and it shows through her work. I am blessed to have her as mine and my children's doctor.

Dr. Paula Belmar is professional, personable and engaging. She has provided my wife and I competent care, a consistently accurate diagnosis and methodical treatment plans. We’re never made to feel rushed and she shares her medically sound judgment during treatment. Dr. Belmar is an “A+” physician!

Dr Belmar is excellent and my husband, son & myself have been patients of hers for almost 20 years. She is very caring & really listens to me when I see her. My only problem is the office staff. When trying to schedule an appointment with her, they ALWAYS try to push us to other doctors & are pretty rude when we come in. If I could find another doctor as good as Dr Belmar & as close (45 minute drive), we would switch just because of the office staff. I wish Dr Belmar had never joined Sentinel.

Have had two appointments with Dr. Belmar and will not be back. Wait time isn't awful, and the staff is extremely pleasant. But Dr. Belmar herself has awful bedside manners. All of my concerns are never fully addressed, check ups are not thorough at all, and I was talked to in a demeaning way when asking questions.

Dr Belmar is the best doctor I have ever been to. She is caring, extremely knowledgeable and very thorough in her exams.

I think Dr. Belmar is absolutely wonderful. She is thorough, knowledgeable and very easy to talk to. I have been looking for a good doctor for four years, and I have finally found one!

Dr. Belmar takes the time to understand and answer as many questions as she can. She listens to issues and does not make a patient feel rushed. She is willing to try what ever needs to be done to find satisfactory resolutions to health problems.

Dr. Belmar is an OUTSTANDING doctor in every possible way! Highly recommended!!!
