Disheartened
I went in hopeful that I could get a grasp on PMDD that's been debilitating, desperate for help. Instead, I was immediately met at the front desk with a cc auth form (there's a $340 admin fee just to be seen, which wasn't disclosed prior to my appointment) from a distracted, cold woman with a giant 'WOMEN to WOMEN' sign behind her. Whatever was on her computer screen was much more important at the time. After I asked if there were any other options to just be seen, she came back with a no. Very little eye contact. After I sat trying to figure out what to do, hearing a 'did she decided yet?' from around the corner and a 'no, she's still sitting there' in response, I got up and left. This is not healthcare. I have insurance, very decent insurance, but it doesn't cover astronomical 'admin' fees. Really feeling the For-Profit American healthcare system today and very disheartened by this cold interaction and lack of help. Still processing what happened.

Twin pregnancy Dr
Dr McAllister was my first ob for my twin pregnancy before I went to Dr Tabsh (whom I loved). A few things occurred with Dr. McAllister that made her a dangerous choice for me in a high risk pregnancy. First, without being too explicit on here she didn’t do an exam correctly which could have led to a preterm birth. She missed seeing something that made it hard (and riskier) to get it corrected later in the pregnancy. Also, it was hard to get in contact with her and she didn’t seem to care about me. For a Pap smear, Dr McAllister is probably an ok choice, but she’s not experienced enough and makes poor decisions for a high risk twin pregnancy. I’m leaving this review because it’s important and difficult to find a good, skilled, and experienced doctor for a high risk pregnancy. It’s necessary to find a great Dr for a high risk pregnancy to make the best decisions in hard situations, and prevent possible death for both mom and baby. I feel my new Dr saved my life when I lost about 2 lite

The Best
Dr. McAllister is the best obgyn I have ever seen. She never makes you feel rushed, and everyone in her office seems very compassionate and like they really enjoy their jobs. I am about to have my third delivery, and I wouldn't want to be cared for by anyone else.
