Waste of time.
Waited 5 mos to see this “doctor”. Glanced at my old records, refused to repeat labs even though it’s been 6 years. Basically told me my issues were in my head within 5 min of meeting her. She glanced at my hands, was the extent of her exam. If you come in with a diagnosis, and physical deformities then she’s the one for you —as she can then generate revenue off you. If you a hard case that needs intelligent investigation —RUN. Blessing for me in the end. Found a competent rheumy who knew how to listen to my story, and order appropriate testing, and now in treatment. DONT WASTE YOUR TIME.

Went to N.E. Regional, but after e-rays and bone scan, had to call/call/call several times to get doctor to respond and get results--not very helpful. Retired doctor locally referred me to this doctor. Lots of questions, she looked at x-Rays and bone scan and finally decided she knew what I had. Small prescription and improvement started in three days and better ever since. Good Job!!

Dr McMurtry is the smartest physician I have ever come across. If you want answers and a plan, she will have them. If you just want narcotics, the exit is to the left.

1st off, totally copped out by quitting prescribing schedule 1 pain medicine. Thanks for creating a new appointment and charges with a pain management clinic!! 2nd, Is it really that difficult to automated message patients that you are going to be out of office for 3 weeks? You have figured out how to call me to confirm my appointment so as to not mess up YOUR plans! 3rd, again we have software deficiencies in regards to prescriptions expiring and causing unnecessary stress and time to sort out.

I met Dr. McMurtry and staff today. The office was upbeat and cheery! I found Dr. McMurtry to be very much a "People's Doctor". She was through and extremely accommodating to my schedule.

I always enjoy my visits with Dr. McMurtry. I guess since I work for a physician, I understand how being a pain in the rear doesn't work for any physician and some people just expect above and beyond always. You go in there for your need whether it be refills or whatever and get that taken care of and then that is it. You don't need to what if this and what if that like a doctor can look into your future. If anyone has a problem with her or her staff, then they are the problem.

Perception was patient and condition were greatest source of amusement for Doctor that day. To begin with stood waiting several minutes while uncaring, undisciplined, lounging staff and a child visitor discussed the snack they were having and then the refreshment choice for the afternoon. Even though I was only patient in office when taken to exam room, nurse reacted like she could not get away from me fast enough. Doctor spent more time out of exam room than in.

For my condition, Dr. McMurtry is not being aggressive in treatments. She does not have a plan ready when current medication doesn't work. Gives little to no advice on exercises, foods, or methods to ease pain. She is very detached from me as a patient. Difficult to get in touch with office concerning need for medication advice or changes. She sets return visits for 3-4 months when there is a NEED to be seen sooner to assess how well medication is /is not working.
