I also saw Dr. Trum several times while at Silver Cross Hospital. Although my time with her was only for about 10 minutes or so each time, I can say that she took the initiative to order blood work on me to check my thyroid. I found out from that blood test that I have Hashimoto's Disease, which causes many symptoms. Too bad I had to spend 7 nights and 8 days in their behavioral center before anyone decided to actually give me medical treatment. I came in through the emergency room!

I made an appointment and was told the paperwork would be mailed to me for a new patient. I never received it. When I went in and filled out the paperwork, there were some questionable items on the form. When my wife approached the registration desk to ask about the questionable items , the employee had a very bad attitude. Not happy at all with the staff. I would have been a new patient, not now. When my wife called to have them remove my insurance information, Diane was rude.

They say that psychopaths are excellent at reading people, but have absolutely zero empathy themselves. This is the feeling you will have when dealing with dr. trum (lowercase on purpose). Absolutely zero respect for patients, didn't return call to request my medication after failing to authorize for my insurance company, and I went without for more than 5 days. I can't afford medication that costs $130 PER-PILL! Avoid at all costs - you'll find more empathy from a cat.

Zero empathy. Would not return a phone call with test results. After waiting almost 2 weeks, I had to just go myself to the hospital to get blood work results. Not fun when you already suffer from anxiety.
