Good initially, ego & arrogance, bad med. later
Ego interferes with listening to patient, also guesses a lot, guesses wrong, felt he was doing more harm to my health than good. Sadly, opposite of “first do no harm”—also obvious trying to make a buck with non-medical cosmetic procedures, waiting room bombarded with those cosmetic treatment advertisements. Stay away if you truly value your health.

Office is so professional
His office is very professional and clean. Dr. Anand is clearly the best physician in town. My cardiologist told me to see him. He found out some of the symptoms I had were due to drug interactions. I have lost 50 pounds and feel great! Thank you Dr. Anand!

My visit on Nov 7th 2022
I was a patient of Dr Anand's for 7 years.I moved a way for 2 years. When returning to Naples I called Dr Anand's office to see if I could still be his Patient. I was told yes I was still his patient. I made my appointment with Dr Anand for Nov 7th. My appointment did not go as I thought it would. When meeting with Dr Anand we talked about my first issue and he call in a prescription for me. When I bought the next problem he said you're not my patient so you should go to your Doctor where you live. So rude I was in shock he said that to me three or four times. YOU ARE NOT MY PATIENT!! So why did he see me call in a prescription for me? I always liked Dr Anand but after the last visit I would never go back to him! I have never been treated like that from a Doctor.

Hard pass for me
I had questions and he had no idea of the answer regarding a medication making me very sick with horrible side effects. He said a family member was on that medication and he's fine! What doctor says that? What doctor doesn't realize that every person's reaction is different? Turns out that medication was messing with my brain, my digestive system...Just the worst experience with a doctor. And I'm chronically ill, so I KNOW a good doctor (one that really cares and will research what his patients' health problems and help to make their lives better.) Then there are the doctors that pile in as many patients as they can to make the most $$. It's like herding cattle. Eh, if you're not sick you won't mind the guy, but if you have serious diseases, do yourself a favor, and find a real professional.

We read the reviews and we’re very excited to have my parents begin seeing Dr. Anand. Unfortunately, we had nowhere near the experience that would indicate a five star review. It started with his prescribing a new medication for my mom without checking with her nephrologist, which damaged her kidneys to a point where she fainted and needed to be hospitalized 2 days to get stabilized. At the post-discharge visit he was condescending, rude, and extremely dismissive. His mantra: “well at your age…“ Terrible bedside manner. Fast forward 1 month and my mothers BP was high. She had been taking her BP at home, and when it was 200/86 she called him and went in. In his office, her blood pressure is, oddly, always over 135/76 or thereabouts. He told her to throw the cuff away, stop taking it, and offered to prescribe Xanax for anxiety. She ended up in the ER the next day with a BP of 218/112. Long story short, 3 more emergency visits and a med change later, she is stable again. We quit Dr Anand.

My appt with Dr. Anand was scheduled in early March at time of Covid-19; about 10 days after I attended a US conference attended by people from around the world. I called as I had a cough, runny nose, earache & low fever however had great energy; my appt was rescheduled by a week. About one hour before new appt, nurse called to cancel saying to get Covid-19 test & referred me to ER who refused to see me as I didn’t meet criteria. Then the nurse referred me to urgent care & to call the Covid-19 hotline. Both, directed me back to Dr. Anand. While getting the run around, testing started being offered with a doc referral. While attempting to get referral, I was told that Dr. Anand discharged me. Dr. Anand and his nurse are a disappointment. Believe all the reviews that they are arrogant, egotistical, and don't listen to their patient. If you disagree with them, you will be discharged. The doc and nurse's reaction is negligent at best. Read the other negative reviews and believe them.

Waited over an hour to be seen. He asked questions but never gave me a chance to communicate. He only wanted yes and no answers. Absolutely the worst experience with a family doctor I have ever had. Highly disappointed when he came so highly recommended.
