He listened to all my concerns of pain in certain areas, He came up with all the solutions, and described new techniques and advancements. He’s very knowledgeable and he treated me like I was family, with down to earth conversation. His staff is great, they also helped me in what was going to be done before and after the surgery. After a year of severe leg pain almost immediate relief.

I saw Dr. Moazzaz after experiencing serious back pain over an extended period of time. The MRI revealed severe stenosis as the cause of my pain.  My operation was complex, requiring five hours of surgery over two days.  Dr Moazzaz has a calming bedside manner and is very knowledgeable, clearly explaining my situation and answering all my questions prior to surgery.  I’m now in a successful recovery period. Dr. M. Replaced 2 discs in my neck. I was able to get off pain pills hours after surgery. He is such a caring health provided, very knowledgeable and such a steady surgical hand. Dr. Moazzaz performed my third back surgery to fuse a disc to a previous fusion and replace hardware. The experience I had from his front office staff to the medical support was professional and caring. He connected with me because he really listened and was patient in explaining how he would repair my back. After three weeks my recovery was more than I expected. The quality of his work had me recovering quickly which was expedited with a home health team (physical therapy and nurse) that he works closely with to stay connected with his patients. He cares about his patient health and with his skill it makes him a magician.

After my Wife and I suffered (combined 40 years), from Catastrophic Spinal Injuries, due to being 'rear-ended' in two motor vehicle accidents each, we had the Great Pleasures of Meeting with Dr. Payam Moazzaz, M.D. Spinal Specialist. Dr. Moazzaz preformed Spinal Discectomy & Fusions on both my Wife and my Cervical as well as Lumbar Discectomy & Fusion on my Wife. All Three (3) Surgeries Resulted in NO Negative Results. With Each Surgery, As soon as Anesthesia wore off, We Enjoyed the Relief of Excruciating Burning Pains as well as other types of pains! My 79 1/2 yr old mother had severe spinal stenosis & scoliosis with neurologic symptoms- leg pain and weakness and urinary symptoms which came on suddenly and caused loss of function. Dr. Moazzaz and his team facilitated a quick surgery with robotic technology to prevent long term complications. Post op mom's neurologic deficits resolved. 3 wks post op she was no longer using a walker, she was using only acetaminophen 'for a little achiness' and reported that she was feeling 'better than she had in years'. The results speak for themselves. We appreciate the time and patience that Dr. Moazzaz spent explaining the process to mom and answering all of her questions, maybe more than once.

I highly recommend Dr. Moazzaz for robotic spinal surgery as it has been a miracle for me. His team fast-tracked me through diagnosis and solutions, and I had surgery March 10, 2023. He fused me from L4 - S1, including disc spacers above and below L5, in addition to perfoming a laminectomy. I expect to be surfing in a few more months. I had back surgery three weeks ago and before the surgery I was in so MUCH pain!!! three weeks later I am totally pain free!!! I feel like a new person!!! thank you Dr Moazzaz!!! you are a genius!!! Dr. Moazzaz and his team provide excellent care with regards to my back complaints. I have been experiencing back pain, shooting pain and muscular weakness in my arm for about 8 years. I was able to schedule an appointment quite early in his office. Dr Moazzaz discussed the MRI and identified all significant findings. He then discussed the treatment plan on my first appointment. I had neck surgery about a month ago ie anterior cervical decompression and fusion. I stayed overnight in the hospital, there were no complications and everything went okay. As soon as I recovered from anesthesia, I assessed my arm pain and back pain related to the nerve impingement in the neck region. To my relief, they were all gone and never had any related pain since the operation. I have regained all my arm strength as well. Dr Moazzaz is calm, reassuring, and I really feel he genuinely cares for me.His staff are courteous, helpful and professional. Am grateful for the positive healing experience w/ them.

I am so grateful to Dr. Moazzaz for my lower back disc fusion at L5-S1. I was very hesitant to do surgery then he mentioned that my surgery was the easiest of all he performs and entry is through the abdomen, not the back. It seemed less risky than past procedures. After years of feeling like a ton of bricks were pushing down on my spine from my head I am thankful not to have any back pain since the day of surgery. The worst part of the recovery was the incision, not the back. After less than a week I was up and moving around easily. Dr. Moazzaz has a good bedside manner and answered all my questions. I always get second opinions if there is a possibility of surgery. Dr. Moazzaz was the most compassionate and considerate in dealing with my ultimate infusion of my lumbar spine. I liked that he was not too quick to suggest surgery. He had me try other therapeutic remedies. When it became apparent that surgery was my only resolution, he was very professional and the outcome was better than I could ask for. He and his staff gave me my life back. After seeing my successful process and recovery with Dr. Moazzaz, my wife who was anti-surgery (because of a prior surgery from 20 yrs ago) for an ongoing neck pain decided to consult with Dr. Moazzaz. Which ultimately resulted in him resolving her issue and noting why the previous surgery resulted in so much pain for her over the years.
