Dr. Pei Chang, MD

Dr. Chang spent about 20 minutes just lecturing my son on how he needs to start drinking 3 glasses of cows milk a day and wear sunscreen. Mind you, my child is a very healthy athlete who’s diet is extremely well rounded and he drinks almost 2 liters of water a day. She lectured us on the consumption of fast food while promoting cows milk which is extremely processed and full of sugar. She then proceeded to push unnecessary vaccines even though my son is fully up to date. In my opinion, I don’t believe the most perfect patient would get positive feedback from her. Her information is very out dated and it seems she has tunnel vision in her practices. The other patients in her waiting room are waiting extensive amounts of time merely because she is busy scolding parents and children.

Dr. Chang is great doctor!

My doctor is the best . She spent lots of time with me to make sure all my questions are answered . She's very thorough and I could not ask for anyone better . She's super dedicated to her patients .

Parking can be tough with how small the spaces are and limited parking

I find it hard to get feedback from the doctor or nurses for immediate medical symptoms that are not life-threatening and don't require emergency room visit. It takes, at soonest, 24 hours to hear from a doctor or nurse, and at the longest, it's taken four or five days to hear back. It has been a little bit of a struggle as a new mom, not knowing certain symptoms, when to be concerned or not concerned about them. So ideally, I would have liked to have been able to talk to a nurse or a doctor about the symptoms and their recommendations within a few hours of calling in.

The nurse and doctors are always so welcoming and my daughter loves interacting with them! ? thank you for being so patient and helpful with my daughter and us as her parents

Dr Chang is awesome. So glad she's my kids' pediatrician.

I disagree with the doctor's approach to discussing diet. It feels like the doctor is shaming the parents if the child doesn't eat a perfectly nutritious, well-rounded diet with no sweets. The way she speaks, she doesn't seem to assume that parents may have been trying their best to make this happen for their kids their whole lives and is a source of daily struggle and stress, so this attitude is extremely unhelpful.

Dr. Chang is very personable, very knowledgeable, very caring and great with kids.

We have had trouble scheduling urgent appointments in a timely manner

The receptionist or intake people are so rude and not friendly. Also the First Lady that tried to register me did not know what she was doing. Not only did she not register me correctly I witness a patient complaining about her giving her the wrong paperwork. The receptionist or intake person didn't even notice until 2 separate patients complained. I don't feel comfortable that my personal information is keep confidential. I took 1 hour before anyone realized and only because I went to ask that the first receptionist or intake lady didn't register me correctly. It's ridiculous it takes the patient to complain before anyone pays attention. The lack of empathy, compassion and care for the patient is unbelievable and sad.

Hello! I had some trouble scheduling physical for my daughter through Mychart.

Dr Chang is extremely thorough, precise, balanced, upbeat, and reassuring. She listened to my son's lungs from 4-5 spots very carefully and attentively, and explained how non-covid virus coughs can linger a few weeks.

We love Dr. Pei Chang, but we didn't like her nurse that day. It seems that she doesn't enjoy working with babies. Our baby was already tired and fussy and she wasn't flexible/patient on finding ways to give him the shots he needed.

Unfortunately we did have to wait over an hour to see the provider. I do understand that offices can get busy and short staff. This was a rare occurrence.

Very happy to have found Dr chang and this office for my three children!
