Dr. Perminder Bhatia, MD

I have seen David numerous times for a variety of reasons. Migraines, chronic pain, spine w, etc. he always takes time to listen to me and is very helpful. I would highly recommend David. The office staff is a mess and rude. Unfortunately you have to get through them to get to David.

I had an appointment today and when I got there they had not placed it in their computer for scheduling. It took me approximately one hour of driving time to find out that I had no appointment. I had an appointment card from them and a letter explaining the procedure. They charge for missed appointments and I feel I need to be be compensated for their error. I missed two other important meetings to make it to their appointment. The office manager was rude and did not resolve the issue. Reading through these reviews looks like I will be dropped as a patient since that appears to be what the office does if they get a complaint.

I trust Dr. Bhatia with my medication and general treatment. He always responds to my questions to make sure I am receiving the treatment I need. He also listens very well on the months that i see him. I would recommend him to anyone who needs his professional services.

I have been a patient for many years due to surgeries for cervical spine issues and multiple other orthopedic surgeries and joint replacements caused by trauma and aging. My experience is that I have always received prompt, professional and compassionate care. I have rarely had to wait more than 5-10 minutes in the waiting room, have never been made to feel my questions were silly or dumb, receive prompt assistance with medication issues and am always asked how my progress has been and how the office can help. When treatment has caused me to miss work, I have returned to work ahead of my scheduled return and continue to work full time. The staff is always courteous and friendly, no matter how busy they appear to be.

I have been Dr. Bhatia’s patient for several months now and continue to be impressed by his and his office staff’s above and beyond care. He listens, he cares, and he takes the time needed to understand the diagnosis. I appreciated the staff’s continued efforts as they worked to get the necessary insurance approvals. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Dr. Bhatia to anyone in need of an excellent, caring neurologist

I was a patient of Dr. Bhatia's for 6 years & all was well until AFTER Covid-19 restrictions were lifted & we could be seen in the office again. My first appointment back was a disaster. The entire staff had changed. On my way out after scheduling my next appointment the lady at the desk said 'oh by the way you need to take a urine test & it will cost you $50 because we do them in house & we don't bill your insurance company.' It was the end of the day, I was very tired & in severe pain. I told her I would take the test, but I wasn't paying $50 for an 'in house urine test' that should be billed to my insurance company. She got nasty with me & said that's the way they did it. I asked to speak to Dr. Bhatia or the office manager. The lady told me to wait in the front office & later came out with a form in her hand that had what looked like my signature on it, but no date on it. It said I agreeded to be billed for any tests. 1 week later I received a letter of dismissal. No warning.

I am an existing patient who has tried for 4 weeks to get a call back to reschedule an appointment. NO ONE RETURNS THE CALLS

I cannot say enough about Dr BhatIa and his staff. At the time I was referred to him I was in so much pain I was suicidal. He literally saved my life. As a working mother with 3 children he quickly evaluated me and was able to prescribe the right medications for me to go on with my life, I have been his patient for over 20 years. If I have any concerns he always quickly addresses them and explains his reasons in words I can understand..

My husband has recently been diagnosed with a serious illness. We couldn’t be more pleased that this kind, compassionate doctor, Preminger Bhatia, will be his doctor as we go forward on this journey. He listened and patiently answered all our questions….we had many and never felt rushed. His explanations were clear and understandable…it was so evident that Dr. Bhatia is on the cutting edge with treatments for my husband’s disease. With a busy practice, we had concerns about how available the doctor would be, but he reassured us, offering an email address to reach out. And he was, once again, reassuring (and pragmatic) as we discussed those dreaded insurance hurdles . I can’t think of what else we could hope for in a doctor and are very grateful for this referral.

I had a pinched nerve in my neck. Others recommended neck surgery for me. Dr. Bhatia recommended therapy and traction. My pain had gone, and I didn't have to go under the knife.

Dr Bastia runs a very large and busy practice with the assistance of multiple assistants but no other medical doctors. I had high expectations for my visit, but had doubts about his practice when my neurological evaluation was was rushed, and focus did not seam to inline with other comprehensive neurological examinations I have had, it was very limited/basic. Ultimately my concerns were confirmed when I read my examination report which was biased and dismissive. The finding of multiple medical specialist who have spent considerable time evaluating me over months dismissed, as were test results. My exam was paid for by a third party, no my private insurance company. Dr Bhatia knows where his bread is buttered on these exams attempting to justify conclusion party paying for exam likely wants versus actually conducting a comprehensive exam and medical review. Omissions and errors in report also. Incredibly disappointing. I cannot recommend Dr Bhatia to anyone.

He is a wonderful neurologist! Answers our emails 24/7. I would recommend him to anyone!

Dr Bhatia took the time with us to listen to our concerns and then came up with a plan to help make things better. Dr Bhatia is a compassionate doctor who genuinely cares about his patients and their families.

Dr Bhatia is by far is one of the best physicians I know. He goes above and beyond to help his patients. He takes the time to get to know you and is genuinely concerned regarding your well being. He is always available to help if any problems arise. I highly recommend him.
