would not recommend this physician for my dog. very rude, opinionated, and condescending. He has no bedside manner. I am a health care provider and do not treat my patients this way or I would be fired. How is he retained by an employer treating patients this way No wonder he does not have a practice.

I have had many surgeries at IU Saxony and have always been cleared for surgery and taken care of while hospitalized by Dr Caccavalo. I think he is AWESOME!! I have had many issues that require extra attention and he and his staff are extremely caring and thorough. I am scheduled for a knee replacement in a few weeks and will be seeing him again soon. I have total trust in him!!

I wish I could leave a negative star, instead of a single one. What a hack! No wonder he doesn't have a real office, and only sees patients that need to be cleared for surgery...patients of other doctors. No "bedside" manner at all. Neither he, nor his staff, actually listen to the patients. You would think, since they are seeing you exactly once, and clearing you for life threatening surgery, they could spare a minute to LISTEN. Almost died thanks to his "listening" skills. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!

Dr. C and his staff were very thorough. Even though I only saw him for a brief period in my life he knows that surgery is no joke and its important to have a internist that is thorough and caring. Staff was kind and caring.

Condescending, doesn't listen well and judgmental instead of helpful. As a hospitalist seems to go a bit overboard when his care for you is for just a short time. I would rather have a physician that listens and understands his part in my care is brief at best

In and out too quickly. Did not fully assess. Placed orders without even looking, listening, or feeling. Rude and condescending to coworkers. Overall terrible bedside manner and attitude. Would not recommend!
