Dr. Peter Cha, MD

Dr. Cha is a very talented, gifted orthopedic surgeon. He has a compassionate manner and takes time to listen, examine, order appropriate tests, diagnose your problem, and explain the treatment plan. His office runs very smoothly and everything is scheduled quickly and seamlessly. You are not left in doubt about what hapens next, who you call, where you go, etc. In the past he has taken wonderful care of several of my family members and although I wish I wish didn't need his professional expertise now, i am grateful he is there to help me. I trust him completely.

Saw him about my shoulder. Takes a conservative treatment approach, exploring all options of treatment. Ended up having surgery that was very successful.

I saw Dr. Cha as a 2nd opinion for my shoulder. He was outstanding!! He definitely knows about shoulders. He went over my imaging and actually listened to me about what was going on. His PA (Kirsten) was great. She was excellent and explained things in great detail. Their overall team was efficient and friendly. I would highly recommend Dr. Cha!!

Saw Dr. Cha after sustaining a fall and injured my hip. He was outstanding. He was very good at explaining my injury. His staff was amazing. Everyone was upbeat and smiling.

Went to Dr. Cha for a foot problem. He was great!

An egotistical disaster. Terrible bedside manner. Can’t be bothered to explain anything or teach his patients. The entire practice is a cattle call. Disinterested help. No one really wants to be bothered with patients. Would never recommend. Trying to find alternative. I’ve worked in healthcare. This practice is a mess.

Dr Cha is an amazing surgeon, knows what he's talking about, does great work in the operating room, and really cares for his patients. Would highly recommend to anyone needed orthopedic surgery

Intelligent.

Dr. Cha is a great surgeon. I had a torn ACL and fraying of my meniscus in my left knee and Dr. Cha handled both of them via arthroscopic surgery. I am so glad to be back to normal life without knee pain!

Dr. Cha is FANTASTIC. Look no further if you have a rotator cuff tear or torn labrum. I was recommended to him by a physical therapist, and I am so glad I listened. I am 11 weeks post-op from a labral tear and am near full range of motion thanks to his skilled hands. He is aggressive with the physical therapy, meaning you've got to work hard, but you'll get the range of motion back, no doubt. 100% likelihood I'd recommend him to family, friends, and anyone who would listen.

Dr. Cha is the best, hands down. He has absolutely zero bedside manner, though, and he comes across as pretentious (everyone else at Beacon was friendly and really helpful, though!). However, after two knee surgeries with him (one on each side), I can honestly say that I won't go anywhere else for sports medicine care. Dr. Cha and the team at Beacon Ortho allowed me to avoid knee replacements and get back to working out regularly. Thank you so much!

Set up appointment after receiving referral from urgent care doctor and getting x-rays. Waited over an hour to see doctor who spent maybe 5 minutes with me before telling me he didn't know what to do without an MRI. Now I have to come back for an MRI and then again to see the doctor after he looks at MRI. That will be a total of four visits. Couldn't he have saved a visit and just ordered an MRI based on urgent care referral and Xray? Racket!
