I recently had a consult with Dr. Johnson regarding him doing a full hysterectomy on me. I see there are reviews that say he was very caring with them. He was the opposite with me. He was very short, rude, not pleasant at all. He acted like he had somewhere better to be, like he didn't want to be bothered with talking to me. He didn't take the time to explain what to expect afterward, what the side effects would be, etc. Of course I asked those questions, since he didn't explain them to me as I would expect a doctor to do for this type of surgery. I certainly hope his demeanor and bad bedside manner is no indication of his skill as a surgeon.

Dr. Johnson was short tempered and rude when I was accidentally transferred to him from the on call answering service. He told me he doesn't do obstetrics, (I had a high risk pregnancy question), I am not his patient, he had no idea why they paged him, and he would call the right doctor. He then abruptly and rudely hung up on me. I would never recommend someone so unprofessional!

I was 19 weeks pregnant with a large ovarian cyst (17cm) on my right ovary. A lot of people with my size of a cyst more than likely get their Fallopian tube and ovary removed. Dr. Johnson informed me he would try his BEST to keep my ovary and Fallopian tube despite how large my cyst was. Well post surgery and I still have my Fallopian tube and right ovary!! I’m so grateful to have had him for my surgeon! Thank you for doing a phenomenal job Dr. Johnson!! My baby is also doing well.
