Dr. Peter Krall, MD

Dr. Krall performed cataract surgery on my left eye and I couldn’t believe how painless and easy the procedure was. He has a great bedside manner and really put me at ease for the procedure. I highly recommend Dr. Krall.

When he was at Dr. G's practice I saw him because I had symptoms of retina detachment. After checking my eye without testing for retina detachment, he sent me home by saying, something to the effect of, "it's nothing scary. come back in a month." My symptoms did not go away so I went back three weeks later, and complained about the missing partial vision, which I did at the first time. He then tested my eye for retina detachment - yes, it was a retina detachment. He sent me to a retina specialist, and I was told by the specialist that it was an existing condition already - it was not new. Then, I had to have an emergency surgery. The retina specialist saved my vision but because of that "existing condition" the surgery was bigger than it should/could have and I have a double vision from the surgery now. I would like to ask Dr. Krall, what part of my retina detachment symptoms was "nothing scary."

I saw Dr. Krall in San Diego, Ca. He looked like Dougie Howzer but was really knowledgeable and took time to explain everything! Just wanted others to know that if you’re in need of an ophthalmologist in San Diego, he’s the best I’ve been to!
