Sacroplasty issue
Dr. Kvamme performed a successful sacroplasty on my right side. Then, 3 months later I had a fracture on the left side. He did another sacroplasty which left cement fragments around the nerves in my spine. I have been in severe, constant pain in my left leg and foot due to this for 3 months now. I realize there are risks to any surgery. However, it would have been good if this particular risk had been correctly explained to me prior to the surgery. It was not. Now, the problem can not be corrected due to the sensitivity of the area involved. My only hope now is a pain management clinic. Moral of the story : don't let anyone put cement inside your body.

Dr. Kvamme was wonderful when a brain aneurysm was found behind my left eye, after a mini-stroke. He took plenty of time explaining that this aneurysm could be coiled and the procedure went well. He is the first dr. that ever gave me his cell number, and he took my call. A year after the procedure he was available for more questions and performed tests to confirm that the coiling procedure was still holding in place. If needed, I would go back to him in a heart beat.
