I have never had any difficulty getting in to see either Dr. Licata or his PA within 2 - 3 days. Office staff is not very responsive; in over 30 yrs in LV, I have never found one that is easy to contact, or get help from. I truly feel Dr. Licata always has my health as his top priority!

Wonderful. I read the other reviews and they must be going to another office. The staff here is courteous, responsive and has booked same day appointments for me when needed. Dr. and Charmaine are very easy to talk with about a multitude of medical issues and I receive call backs from office staff usually the very next day. I am very pleased with the care and service I receive here.

I have seen the Dr. twice and found him to be rude, arrogant, and obnoxious. I needed a continuous glucose monitor and mask for a CPAP and he stated that he would take care of that for me. Found out that after 4 months he never did anything and refused to do so after the insurance co. told him to do this. In the meantime, I continued taking insulin and had 3 episodes of very low blood sugar that the last one required going to the hospital. The hospital contacted the Dr who stated I was suicidal and that left me being illegally detained under a suicide watch for no reason at all. Took a week to get it cleared up to get out of the psych ward. DO NOT USE THIS GUY AS HE AND HIS STAFF HAS NO IDEA WHAT THEY ARE DOING.

I chose this Dr because of his being an orthopedic Dr since I wanted a primary Dr as well as someone to deal with my dislocated thumb and torn rotator cuff. My first visit went well enough with reception and the first person to take me back and check my vitals. I was proud to et them know I had lost 130 pounds when I weighed in at 244. That person was very commending and happy for me, then I waited ten minutes for the Dr whose first words to me were "is your weight going up or down?" Not hello, Im Dr so and so, not how are you, who are you etc. I was floored by his judgmental fat shaming attitude which he wore so clearly on his Jacket! Never addressed my thumb, never addressed my shoulder, only lets focus on your weight, and in a very demeaning fashion. I have lived with 50 years of medical professionals who are fat haters beyond belief and even though dropped 130 pounds, I never heard a word of it from this Dr. Very poor manner!!!

Medical assistant very rude and not customer service at all...she is backed up by the office manager who is as rude if not more than the medical assistant...Dr Licata is very good too bad we have to deal with the rude staff first...they lied about calling results and get mad when caught in the lie....

I have been a patient for many years. He is an excellent doctor, conscientious, knowledgeable, and thorough. Not warm and fuzzy by any means but he is always there for his patients. You can always get in if you are sick. Great staff. Sometimes the wait to be seen runs long, but they take just as much time when it is your turn. They don't hurry you out the door. They take their time with each patient and are worth the wait.

Dr. Peter Licata is rude, negligent, uncaring and the worst doctor I have ever met. He prescribed me the incorrect medication which resulted in serious suffering on my part. During the office visit he was very rude and told me that if I didn't do what he wanted (get a blood test which i didn't need) that he wouldn't help me in any way. I came in to get a reference but left with a prescription for a drug that wasn't right for my condition. Avoid at all costs!

Never follows thru. Staff sucks. Forget abt refills. This Dr. Told me my ovaries spontaneously disappeared after a yr of having a large cyst on 1 of them. " That happens some times". I looked at him like he had 2 heads.. saying " oh, I don't believe that!" As his tech could not see them pelvicly. Worked in on/gyn know this is false! Of course they weren't gone! Cyst twice as big! Don't go to this quack. Office staff sucks too.

4th visit with Dr Licata today. First visit, Dr Licata instructed me to stop taking meds prescribed by a specialist. Did so. Complications occur 4 days later and I have to start taking meds again. Today's visit was 1hour after my scheduled appt time. I Express for a third time that I need to be referred back to my specialist that was caring for me prior. How can a Dr. See a patient one time and take him off meds that a specialist prescribed without even seeing past medical records, not concurring wit the specialist, or hasn't seen any lan results? When asked to be referred back to my specialist so I can continue my plan of recovery

Dr Licata is, if not the best doctor I have encountered in my 80 years, is certainly up there included in a list of the best. However, he isn't supported very well by his staff, especially Rosa. Rosa appears to be a bit irresponsible and has to be contacted multiple before anything gets accomplished. Also, she is hard to reach and doesn't return phone calls. Wait times are excessive, but that seems to be the norm for most doctors today. Tom Keasler

I’ve been a patient for about 4 years now, and I really like Dr Licata but his staff needs a lot of work. The last 2 times I’ve been to the office I had blood work done. And the last 2 times they missed the same test we took blood for. Not sure I’ll be back. Get a better team doc!

My husband has been having a problem with the staff especially ROSA. He needs some paper works done, fax some paper to the surgeon and to his work but nothing happen. Every time he needs some paper work he call the office to follow up or a call back from the office as ROSA promised ... never happened. ROSA is the worst staff of Dr. Licata ever created on earth. I hope she find peace while sleeping because she makes my husband miserable and it affects me with a great deal.

went to see him about a ankle/knee pain. took an hour to get in and once he saw me. he was rude and after i told him how i was feeling his response was well have you considered losing weight!! not once did he touch me or check me out ( since i went in for a physical) i even fasted and no blood drawn. than he gives me a prescription that the pharmacy declines because the dosage amount doesn't exist. He's used to dealing with old people and really shouldn't call himself a family doctor. reporting
