Right Knee Replacement and Follow-up
On my initial appointment, we discussed all of my treatment options and what was involved and what to expect. He was very knowledgeable and patient with my questions. He was not in a rush for me to make a decision about surgery, even though, my knee was 'bone on bone'. Once I made the decision to have the surgery, everything was handled in a very professional and efficient manner. The surgery was successful and today you can barely see the scar on my knee. The amount of pain medication, rehab and follow-up were excellent. I have recommended Dr. Loeb to many of my friends and acquaintances. All of the staff at his office treat you in a very professional and courteous manner.

Outstanding surgical skills& personal interaction
From diagnosis to discharge Dr Loeb, his nurse and staff listened, explained clearly and provided excellent care for my full knee replacement. Dr Loeb was notably warm and reassuring as I was prepared for anesthesia in the operating room. That meant so much to know he cared. The results of my replacement are excellent.

Knee Replacement Surgery
His surgical skills, previous experience with him for surgery, clearly explained the procedure, did not rush the surgery, and left the decision up to me. Excellent P.A. Mark, front desk, nurses, and the x-ray technician all pleasant and skilled.

DR. LOEB IS A FANTASTIC JOINT FIXER
OVER THE YEARS HE HAS SCOPED MY RIGHT SHOULDER AND RIGHT KNEE AND DONE A JOINT REPLACEMENT ON MY LEFT SHOULDER. MOST RECENTLY HE DID A JOINT REPLACEMENT ON MY LEFT HIP. I COULDN'T BELIEVE HOW SMOOTH IT WENT AND HOW QUICK THE REHAB. I WAS OPERATED ON AROUND 8AM AND WAS HOME AT 12:30PM. I HAD VERY LITTLE DISCOMFORT. CAR TO STEPS INTO THE HOUSE WITH THE AID OF A WALKER. UP THE STEPS WITH CANE. 2 WEEKS OF IN HOME REHAB. WALKER TO CAIN AFTER THE 1ST WEEK AND OFF THE CANE INTO MY 3RD WEEK. I COULD NOT BELIEVE HOW MOBLE IS WAS AND WITH VERY LITTLE DISCOMFORT. FINAL SIGN OFF AFTER 8 WEEKS AND BACK AT MY EXERCISE CLUB. I'M 77 YEARS OLD AND HOPE HE KEEPS PRACTICING FOR A LONG TIME BECAUSE I KNOW I'LL NEED MORE WORK BEFORE I DIE.

Glad to be his patient
I have been a pt of his for several years and several surgeries later. I have done well with all. Not many care for his bed side manner but I love it. He is to the point and tells you like it is. If you like to take pain killers, do not go to him. He gives you enough to get through the rough patch after surgery and that is it. I hate them personally. I trust him more than any other ortho Dr. I have ever seen and have worked with several and have been through a hip replacement and knee replacement by another orthopedic dr. Glad I found him and have him as my Dr now.

Extreme Arrogance
He did hip replacement 4 years ago 2019. Been in excruciating pain since. Yes 4 years. Now, new state new doctor did hip revision. The hip Loeb put in fell out! Loeb kept saying it looks good after each x-ray and 1 MRI when all this time it was wobbling in my femur.

He literally saved my leg!
Three years ago, I had an ACL replacement surgery nightmare that occurred after being treated by a different doctor. A year after that first ACL replacement, I was experiencing a lot of pain in my knee, and something wasn’t right. When the pain management clinic saw the results of the MRI, they referred me to Dr. Loeb. As soon as he saw the MRI and x Rays results, he found that my body rejected the ACL replacement surgery. Immediately, he took over my case and after some tests to confirm his diagnosis, he performed a surgery to remove the previous ACL replacement to avoid further complications with my knee. After carefully looking at my options due to the previous surgery and the rejection, he recommended we used a different method and used my own tissue for the replacement to avoid any possible rejection this time around. Everything happened exactly as expected and surgery went well resulting in a complete recovery and no residual pain. I would highly recommend him and his team.

Terrible Experience
Dr. Loeb is arrogant and does not listen. He was dismissive of my injury and would hardly even look up from his laptop to answer any questions, on two separate visits. He has no compassion and was in a hurry to get me out of his office. I was treated as a nuisance and this was a total waste of time. Now I have to find another doctor who will actually listen. Avoid this doctor if at all possible. His negative reviews are 100% true.

The Wole Package is Terrific
I have had the best: Wong (knee replacement), Mejia (instructive consultations), and best Family Doctor one could hope for in John Ness. As one might imagine, my expectations were high when I saw Peter Loeb. As a surgeon, he is right up there with the very best, and he has created an excellent "whole Package." His office is a happy and very efficient one. The staff are fast and efficient. His PA, Mark, is fun and extremely knowledgeable. His nurse painlessly changed my bandage and removed the staples. His X-Ray room is steps away from the waiting room, and the staff there are relaxed and happy. In fact, relaxed and happy is an accurate description of the entire operation, excuse the pun. Dr. Loeb uses NHC of of Quincy for in home PT. The therapist who came to my home for two weeks brought me along so well, that at two weeks out from Reverse Shoulder Replacement, I am doing things I couldn't do before the surgery.

Thankfully, Dr.Loeb was able to diagnose and repair my worn out right knee last November. After several years of knee pain and avoiding stairs altogether, I am using stairs and walking comfortably again! The whole experience was nothing like I had feared. The procedure is so much less extensive than in years past. And with the help of the pain pump and ice water machine, discomfort has been drastically reduced! Dr.Loeb and PA Mark were wonderful in preparing me for the procedure and gave excellent care following it. I have, AND WILL, recommend them to others! May God Bess them ( and YOU) should you decide to put them to work for you! ( Hebrews 12 verses 11-13 )

An accomplished expert—that’s what you want when you put yourself into a surgeon’s hands. But throw in effectual, informative, professional, courteous, and thorough and that’s what you have when Dr. Loeb is your surgeon. And—that’s what you find with his staff, notably, his PA, Mark, who spent time with me explaining all the details of the upcoming surgery. I am so thrilled I made the decision to have Dr. Loeb do the necessary surgery on my rotator cuff. I am four months out of surgery and am making progress according to the timeline he said I would. My follow-up appointments were all with Dr. Loeb. I believe this is another plus! Hands down—without any reservations—I recommend Dr. Loeb for orthopedic care!

Up front let me say that Dr Loeb, Mark and the rest of the staff at North Florida Sports Medicine were attentive to my concerns and fears leading up to and following my surgeries. Recently Dr. Loeb replaced my left hip. He replaced my right hip two and a half years ago. My first hip surgery went without any issues and I recovered completely. Currently I have excellent strength and mobility in that hip. I am still recovering from my recent surgery but, so far, there have been no issues and I seem to be recovering faster than the last time. I stayed overnight following the first hip surgery. The most recent surgery was outpatient and, for me, this is the way to go. I was much more comfortable sleeping in my bed the first night following surgery.

Dr. Loeb and his staff are AMAZING. I had been to two different Orthopedic doctor's who were unable to fix the pain in my wrist and tingling all the way down to my fingertips. This went on for well over 2 years. Finally a friend suggested I go and see Dr. Loeb. Dr. Loeb knew exactly what to do. BEST Orthopedic Doctor in town!

I spent the better part of a year and a half unable to raise my right arm over my head or sleep at night. Dr. Loeb did a reverse shoulder replacement with bicep tendon relocation. Now 10 weeks out my range of motion is about 80 percent and I have finally been able to have a solid night of sleep. He did an amazing job!!
