I saw Dr. Rinaldi for knee pain. This was my first and last visit with him. From the start of the appointment, he acted as if I was not worth his time. His words and responses were flippant and insulting from my first question. He made me feel unimportant and stupid. When I left feeling more confused than when I went in, I followed up with several questions via the email system. He never responded. His assistant did respond, but did not answer my questions. I felt like I was begging for information about my own case. Eventually, 7 to 10 days later, the after-visit summary finally appeared on my chart online. He falsified information, stating that we discussed things that we absolutely, definitely and most certainly did NOT discuss. I do not recommend him and I will not be going back to him. Now I have to find a new surgeon.

Was referred to Dr. Rinaldi by my Primary care Doctor for extreme knee pain. Dr. Rinaldi ordered MRI and discovered a Bucket Handle Torn Medial Meniscus tear. Hurt like hell. Scheduled Surgery and all went well. On the road to recovery with no more pain. Great Doctor

This doctor Is lacking in so many areas...Displays no empathy whatsoever, lacks professionalism with his flip attitude, and is more interested in following his protocols than adjusting to the individual needs of his patients. After an extensive period of physical therapy, I was given the name of another surgeon who has been everything Dr. Rinaldi wasn’t, including competent! In my second year of recovery and still plaqued with pain, my new surgeon recommended a “revision” procedure which required yet another surgery to make adjustments To the first surgery. I am currently in physical therapy again but I can already feel tremendous improvement and my recovery is proceeding so much more smoothly.

Extremely dissatisfied former patient – Apr 04, 2020

Dr Renaldi took aloe of time going over my diagnostic studies and optional treatment plans. I was very nervous before surgery because of a previous bad experience. He listen, empathized and used humor to calm me down. Post op visit again he spent alot of time with me answering all my questions and teaching me about how to keep my knees healthy. I’m so glad I chose to have the needed surgery and that he was the one to do it

I am a retired surgeon and I think Dr. Renaldi is competent and honest. I feel good about recommending him.. I may need shoulder surgery next year. If I do, I will have him perform it.

Wow. What a great doctor! Took as much time as needed to go over all of my MRI sides and X-ray's. He answered all of my questions and explained in great detail what he believes is going on. He gave me choices in treatment and I left feeling relieved. UC Davis has always been great and Dr. Rinaldi and staff did not disappoint. Thank you!

Rude and showed no concern for my condition. I found out after i discontinued seeing him that he left a note in my report insinuating i was faking my pain and condition for a year.
