A surgeon held in high esteem
I was referred to Dr. Salob by a colleague of his after an earlier consultation regarding a serious knee effusion I had. Due in no small part to Dr. Salob's deep care and professionalism, he performed emergency surgery at Englewood Hospital on my knee later that day. The underlying cause of my condition was diagnosed, and I honestly don't know where I would be today without his quick action. His subsequent recommendations regarding treatment for my knee are also some of the best things that could have happened to me. I am forever grateful to Dr. Salob.

I found Dr. Salob to be compassionate and understanding. I broke my left knee cap and he did surgery to put it back together. It took awhile to recover but I am walking without a walker or cane. I would highly recommend him. Englewood Cliffs NJ 5/11/2020.

I feel like Dr. Peter Salob motivations and incentives are in conflict with Patient’s interests. Here’s why. I had a follow-up appointment with Dr. Peter Salob to review my MRI results. On the day of appointment, first time in my life, I was late by an hour for my medical appointment, which I deeply apologized for. But, the doctor was still at the clinic so I was hoping it should not take that long as I had the MRI results and there was no need to do any further diagnosis. However, they refused to take me in and ask to reschedule the appointment because I was two hours late, which is an incorrect statement in actual I was an hour late. Based on my experience, I am seriously questioning the incentive and motive of Dr. Peter Salob’s office to work with patient and remediate the medical issue as it took them more than four weeks to sit on the issue and it’s still pending. On the other hand, I was able to get an appointment with another doctor in few days and remediate the issue immediate

Dr. Salob performed successful bilateral knee replacement surgery in 2004 when no one else would (both my knees were almost equally bad) and I wouldn't have been able to do proper P.T. post-op. Since then he has treated me for gym related injuries in past years. He has always been pleasant, caring, and giving of his time. I really think he's great!

Dr. Salob performed arthroscopic knee surgery, along with consulting on some questions I had regarding my ankles. He is kind and compassionate, and I was very satisfied with my recovery period from the knee surgery. I was walking unaided within 3-4 days, and now a month later, with the assistance of PT, I am pretty much back to normal, except for hardcore activities. We also discussed in detail a situation with my ankles and I was very pleased with his recommendations.

Dr. Salob has been my family's doctor for several years now since we all have knee problems. He did surgery on my teen son for torn ACL and on my husband for torn MCL, both were sports injuries which are very common. Now my daughter has issues, possibly a torn ligament of some kind and i will not hesitate to take her to Dr. Salob if she needs surgery. He listens, he sympathizes, he has a great bedside manner and is very knowledgeable and experienced . I would highly recommend him to anyone.

Dr. Salob listens well and responds like what you're saying matters, unlike a lot of doctors who kind of humor you and then move on. He's a nice guy and I trust his advice. Plus the staff are all-around great, from the desk staff to the nurses to the physicians assistants to the Dr. Salob himself. Sight unseen he fit me into his schedule when I asked the receptionist if she could ask him to squeeze me in.
