I love Dr. Syre!
Dr. Syre is an excellent, highly skilled neurosurgeon with a kind demeanor. He truly cares about helping people, no matter what. I live 2 hours away and insisted on seeing Dr. Syre instead of one of the mediocre surgeons here in the Loveland/Ft. Collins area, because he saved my life, and fixed my back from a traumatic accident in 2016. He fused several vertebrae and had to remove bone fragments from my spinal cord, I was in ICU for 3 days. (It would have been too dangerous otherwise.) Bravo, Doc! Then, on Jan 9, 2023 I had a very complex spinal surgery due to numerous falls on ice and slick surfaces (causing broken hardware from surgery #1,) bulging discs, and spinal stenosis, which compressed nerves, and thereby caused wretched sciatica in both legs. He also fused all the way down my pelvis, to stabilize everything. I recently researched and discovered only 150 neurosurgeons in the US. are trained to perform this procedure. I recommend him 110% to anyone needing neurosurgery!!!

Best neurosurgeon I've ever seen
Dr. Sure fixed a botched surgery I had on my spine and 6 months later removed a Rathke's Cleft Cyst from my pituitary gland in my brain. He is an amazing surgeon and he really cares about the job that he does. He really goes the extra mile to make sure that you're taken care of.

Top neurosurgeon- saved my life
Peter Syre MD is a top neurosurgeon. As a staff neurosurgeon at Swedish Medical Center he saved my life. After slipping in an elevator and sustaining severe injuries He performed a very risky procedure in screwing my C1 vertebrae back together. He pulled it off perfectly! He was candid about the risks, and consulted with other trauma neurosurgeons before the procedure - he’s a rock star neurosurgeon. I’ve know world class neurosurgeons (Harvard) and Peter Syre MD is among them. Thanks to him I’m not in a wheelchair or much worse!

Dr Syre is probably an excellent back surgeon, but I believe he lacks integrity. He operated on my back in April 2020 following a Shoulder surgery Feb 2020. We discussed my shoulder still in recovery and he assured me it would not be disturbed. Turns out his team, under his direction, picked me up after surgery and tore it again. When I brought this to his attention in his office shortly after his procedure, he responded "We try not to do that", refusing to take responsibility. Due to his actions, I've required revision surgery on this shoulder, experiencing terrific pain since, and significant PT. I do not recommend him due to Character. After posting this review on Google, he had it removed forcing me to take further action. This review will be followed up with the Colorado Attorney General, DORA, and other State Resources.

Dr. Syre designed a composite bone flap and completed the cranioplasty for my daughter who had a craniotomy following her TBI from an auto accident. Dr. Syre listens carefully and explains thoroughly. He makes sure he addresses any questions you have.

Dr. Syre is an excellent neurosurgeon using all the latest techniques. His office staff and PAs are responsive and helpful. I am beyond pleased with my result after my spinal fusion and highly highly recommend him as a surgeon and a caregiver. I am a nurse and my husband is a surgeon and we both give Dr. Syre and his staff the highest recommendation.

Let me tell you what this so called surgeon did to my husband. He’s in such horrible pain. It’s been 16 months. He’s not only in horrible pain. His legs go numb and his legs hurt horribly too He saw another surgeon today. The first thing he asked was “do you have an attorney “. The hardware he put in is sitting on one or more nerves. Syre disgusts me!!!!! I don’t know how he lives with himself. And his staff is just as bad. They’re all LIARS!!!

Dr. Syre is a dedicated, thoughtful, serious professional from our experience. He has given my son hope for a chance at life after 9 years of being mostly bed bound with intractable pain and seizures resulting from any movement. Dr. Syre exudes confidence and knowledge without being condescending. We are thankful my sons other surgeon referred to him because hope is actually on the horizon after many years.

Dr. Syre performed back surgery (laminectomy) for stenosis on me in late August. The positive results were immediate. I was out of pain and able to walk out of the hospital a day later. My progress continues. I cannot thank Dr. Syre and his competent staff (Stephanie and Quincy) enough for their attention to detail and their responsiveness to my needs.

Dr Syre removed a brain tumor (benign) from my head after checking myself into the emergency room at Swedish. I checked in on a Sunday late afternoon, and was on the operating table by Monday morning. He did a great job with the surgery, checked in on me personally at least 5 times post-op, and has a very humble spirit. I cannot recommend him enough!

Dr.Syre by himself is a top score. He is amazing, laura his scheduler is amazing. DO NOT USE COLORADO BRAIN AND SPINE ENGLEWOOD. His staff is the WORST. Jess does not return messages or calls for weeks. Erin doesn't listen, cut me off when I was explaining a post surgery problem that included nerve issues, loss of movement, and possible abscess. (DR.syre was out of town) Other providers can't reach them and neither will you be able to.

Dr Syre and his staff, were amazing. he did a neck rebuild on me, in December 2017. I am now, 3 months post op. His work, was the best in his league. Very professional, caring and understanding. I have my life back now, and am looking forward, to the future. His staff, both in hospital and at office, are awesome. I would HIGHLY recommend him, to anyone. In fact, I already have.

Dr. Syre is a very professional and competent Doctor. He did major back surgery on me that took 11 hours. 3 months later, I feel great and am getting back to a normal life. He has a great bed side manner and is always willing to spend as much time talking with the patient as needed. I would rate him 10 out of 10.

We are so pleased with the results of the surgical procedure that was done in April 2017. After a thorough and pains taking evaluation up to and including the 8 hour surgery itself, Dr Syre proved to be of up most courtesy and professionalism. The results are even better than we had hoped for considering the complexity of my condition. Thanks to the surgical staff, the hospital care at the Spine Center of the Swedish Medical Center. Our life is so blessed and we are so thankful. Gloria K Vigil

Excellent surgeon and physician assistants! Incommunicative and unprofessional office staff! I needed forms filled out to get medical leave and the office staff were rude and nonresponsive. I finally had my corporate office call for the information. After experiencing extreme pain I called the office and was told by one of the nonmedical staff members that the doctor's medical team would probably not call me back. They didn't. I doubt if she even passed the information on to the doctor.
