Great one day, weird on another.
Every Dr has a system. Teichmans system is to ask you the necessary questions to fill in the check boxes for the Epic computer system, make you a referral to another Md if you have a problem, and send you on your way. He doesn't like to teach or explain things. If you press him for info he becomes agitated and will even rush out of the room. He says all the right things, and gives you assurances, but then suddenly gets weird and uninterpretable. It makes we wonder exactly what meds HE is on or if perhaps he isn't taking them.

BEWARE!!!!!
Dr. Teichman seems more concerned about keeping visits to less than 20 minutes than caring for his patient’s needs. He is rude, insensitive, and reactive. An example: He cut me off in the middle of a sentence (as I was asking a medical related question). And, as he walked out the door, he pointed to his watch and quipped “we are out of time- I need to see another patient”. The following visit I brought to his attention that I felt disrespected and insignificant. His response was defensive in nature. No apology, nothing that made me feel my doctor actually cared. Weeks later Dr.Teichman sent me this message: “Our patient-doctor relationship is not satisfactory, and I will not be your doctor going forward. You do not have a scheduled appointment with me in 2023, so there is sufficient time for you to change to a different health care provider.  Sincerely,  Peter Teichman, MD, MPA”. Beware!

Worst
Dangerously neglectful, as if he knows nothing of serious diseases and treatment options. Unwilling to refer out when out of his league which was life threatening. Rude and inconsiderate. Self centered and ego driven over patient care. More than 20 years in medical profession and I have never witnessed such a harmful doctor and the staff communication is not much better.

Worst doc I've EVER seen. Acts like he cares, but in reality he couldn't care less. Claims to want to provide the care that you need, but only gives you what he wants and that's not much. He's much too busy talking about himself to listen to you. Practically any other doc would be better than this guy. Be warned!

Terrible, just terrible. All the above that you read is true especially the part about retaliation, and "he knows best". He can't control his temper

As a doctor he has one tract evaluation task! Won’t listen doesn’t care! Only hears what he wants to hear and, he won’t take YOUR word on what YOU as a patient knows about your pains and allergies and effects when drugs are forced on you! My pain is real and my condition is true by every mean of my humanly knowledge of how my body system works (for me)! NO! I can’t be dictated-forced to take something YOU don’t know anything about except for what has been fed to you to repeat to the your patients! NO!!! You don’t know!

I had my first visit with Dr. Teichman today. Contrary to some of the other reviews on this site, I found him to be very caring and concerned about the health of me and my family. Moreover, he presents as an extremely intelligent person with a high capacity for retaining knowledge, which is exactly what I want in a physician. My wife and son both like him, too.

Worst experience that I have ever had with a physician and I have worked in the medical field for 45 years. He doesn't listen, is flippant/arrogant, has zero people skills, lacks knowledge about diseases and doesn't try to help his patients get better. At first I was patient with him because he was new but with every visit it got worse and worse. I always left his office flabbergasted and angry. I think he is dangerous and it's sad to see him operating in the Rogue Valley.

We concur with others that this doctor is arrogant, dismissive, uncaring, rushed and makes factual errors on his chart notes. We have moved on to find primary care physicians who care.

He is arrogant, rude and inappropriate. Terrible for elderly patients who he doesn’t see. He claims to be outspoken and direct but doesn’t not take the time to actually learn the condition.”He knows best.” I think he is dangerous because of this. In addition we found him vengeful and rude. We complained about some very very inappropriate things he said and he attempted to retaliate. The office knows he’s like this and readily apologized for him but somehow hasn’t gotten rid of him yet. Do not see him under any circumstances!

I’m very impressed with Dr. Peter Teichman. He listens well and he has deep knowledge across a wide range of medicine. He also takes a balanced approach to health concerns, meaning that he wants to address health issues with lifestyle changes when possible, but will prescribe medicines when truly needed. In addition, he is very knowledgeable in dermatology, which is important for many of us as we get older.

Worst medical experience of my life. He failed to provide Welcome to Medicare paperwork, refused to prescribe bloodwork/labs, suggested I was trying to find something medically wrong, documented that I was depressed when I had assured him I was not. I left the exam room wondering what the hell had just happened!

He is a terrible physician. As others have said, he is arrogant and seems to only be in it for the money to pay for his Porsche fetish. He will definitely get you in quick, but then he will do nothing but refer you to another doc for the simplest issues. He doesn’t manage any prescriptions and just farms that out. He refuses to give any pain management because he came from a place where it was abused. It seems he feels guilty for his contributions to the opioid crisis. Woe on you if you do need an emergency refill. He still requires an appointment so he can fill his quota and make that money even to refill a script you’ve been on for over a decade and creates a life threatening condition. His appointments are usually less than 5 minutes and he does not listen. He just needs you in and out and billed. Honestly, one of the worst primary care physicians I’ve ever seen. Run, don’t walk away from this quack.
