Dismissive, Outdated and Lacking Empathy
I had an incredibly disappointing experience with Dr Weeks, who claims to specialize in menopause care. Despite his title, his approach was dismissive, condescending, and rooted in outdated information about perimenopause treatment. Rather than addressing my concerns with empathy and evidence-based guidance, I felt patronized and unheard throughout the appointment. It’s baffling to me that someone without personal experience with a uterus can approach their patients with such a lack of understanding or sensitivity. Menopause is a deeply personal and often challenging stage of life, and a specialist in this field should provide support, not perpetuate dismissive and outdated attitudes.I would not recommend Dr. Weeks to anyone seeking compassionate or informed care. Patients deserve better, especially in such an intimate and important area of their health.

Stay away from him!
The guys is rude has horrible bedside manner and short with his patients. He acted like I was bothering his day. Didn’t shake my hand or introduced himself. Rolled his eyes and made me feel very uncomfortable. I would never recommend someone like him as your OBGYN. This guy needs to retire or work somewhere else because he is not doctor material. He yelled at me at one point and walked out of the room. Stay away from him.

Not aligned with HAES, but a kind doctor
I found Dr. Weeks on a HAES list, as I was looking for an OBGYN that would provide medical care without weight stigma. Dr. Weeks informed me that he wasn't aware that he was on the HAES list, it was just a coincidence. I stated clearly that I was not interested in losing weight, but maintaining my current weight and focusing on strength and improving other aspects of my health. He respected what I communicated, although he did mention 'weight loss', I was able to re-focus on my actual needs. Overall he was a kind man/Doctor despite not being exactly what I was looking for. I didn't feel rushed and I felt like he heard me and helped me.
