Don't go to him!
Took me off of denosumab with no follow up medication. Said I didn't need it, why was the doctor giving it to me. I have since found out that it is why I went from osteopenia to osteoporosis. Also told me my insurance would not cover a gel shot to my knee and told me I was wrong when I said it would. Got the gel shot from a orthopedic surgeon and guess what, insurance covered it.

Horrible I Cried for three months after the visit . He refused to check on my blood work after three weeks I contacted the office manager he got angry and wrote down that I was a drug user including meth with no proof. all of my life I’ve never taken one drug I can’t believe it !!!

I saw some fair reviews and got an appointment easily, both of which were red flags, but I thought he would at least do a basic autoimmune workup. I’m guessing that the fair/good reviews were from people who had issues like rheumatoid arthritis. Please don’t been fooled into thinking that this is a physician who has knowledge of autoimmune diseases, even though that should clearly be a part of his training as a rheumatologist. He doesn’t look at previous labs, no physical exam. Unqualified.

Agree with 10/28/16 review. My sentiments exactly. He knew I had CKD and neglected to tell me. Ordered a CT scan with contrast. That damaged my kidneys further. I never knew I had CKD or that contrast can damage kidneys. I won't get that kidney function that I lost back. Awful and uncaring Dr. Run away fast from him!!

Dr. Weis is abrupt, rude, condescending, impatient, and actually yelled at me in his office for asking a medical question. He does not like to work with other doctors caring for you.
