Office staff was so rude!
Dr. Zeegen is great, but the nurses & office staff are rude. Each person I encountered was ruder than the next.

I have known Dr. Zeegen for more years than I would like to count. Having moved to another state and having gone to different doctors, I can assure you, he's the best. In fact, I am making an appointment to come to California just to see him.

Fine physician and very kind and thorough. Answers all questions and takes as much time as he needs. Because of aging he voluntarily retired from surgery. Refers to other outstanding physicians in his group for that. Skill set is phenomenal and clearly up to date on all modern medical techniques. Founded and built the most outstanding group of ophthalmologists in valley. Would refer anyone to Dr. Zeegan and members of that group.

I showed up for my scheduled appointment only to be told that the doctor did not accept insurance. It was the same insurance I told them I had when I booked the appointment. Of course, I was presented with the option of seeing the doctor anyway, but at an out-of-pocket cost “beginning” at $275. Why a business would tell a patient it accepts a specific insurance plan when setting an appointment and then turn that patient away at the time of the appointment, after the patient has taken time off to

Cannot recommend. . Dr. Zeegan was my cataract surgeon. He recommended a premium lens replacement for my left eye cataract surgery that was supposed to replace contact lenses or glasses. This lens cost me $2000 extra. But Dr. Z failed to consider how my prior retinal detachment would prevent the lens from working properly. So AFTER I spent $2000 extra for this lens Dr. Z told me the damaged retina would prevent it from working. They did for me except charge me $175 for a contact lens Rx!
