Dr. Yau 'inherited' me when he came to this practice where I'd been with our beloved Dr. Lesch for 20+ years. Fearing I would never find his equal I am pleased to say that he left me in amazing hands. I usually only have to wait a few minutes and more importantly - Dr. Yau takes the time to not only hear what I have to say and ask- but to explain things clearly and make helpful suggestions. In several occasions he has, himself, called me with tear results- ince at 10:00 PM. I am so grateful that he is my OCP - one who cares and has all the info from any other doctors I may see so I can rest easy that somebody has the big picture. He ROCKS!!!

I was a new patient with Dr. Yau. I had no medical symptoms that were bothering me at he time of the visit. Based on my blood pressure reading, Dr. Yau insisted that I have additional testing. The tests found high cholesterol count and some blockage. He has closely monitored my cholesterol to a safe level. His proactive care probably saved me from heart attach or stroke. I encourage all my family members and friends to go to Dr. Yau!

I would like to thank Dr Yau for basically saving my life. He made the diagnosis and called a colleague specialist to see me right away. I was in emergency surgery the same afternoon thanks to his urgency. The admitting doctor said my infection was almost septic and I would not have made it another day.

I and several members of my family have been patients of Dr. Yau since he joined the practice. Before he joined, his retiring predecessor told me that he was a very bright, capable young Internal/Pediatrics doctor, Texas educated. He turned out to be exactly that and he has been our family doctor since then, about 15 years I think. I find him to be personable, a good listener, he shows careful consideration in prescribing medications and treatment and in recommending a specialist when necessary.

We have always been extremely happy with the entire staff at WFP. Dr. Yau is great!
