I’m visiting Florida and have a foot issue. Received a recommendation for Cortez Foot and Ankle Associates. I have been to see Dr Baldinger twice. I am very pleased with the care being provided. Also, all of the staff (from the front desk to the staff that comes into the room) have been very kind and professional. I would highly recommend Dr Baldinger and Cortez Foot and Ankle Associates.

Unprofessional Office Staff
I've never written a poor review on any doctor but the lack of professionalism in Dr. Baldinger's office was by far the worst I've ever received. I had new insurance and didn't realize I needed a referral so I came to my appointment and was informed they didn't have my referral. I would assume it would be standard practice to call a patience prior to coming in for the appointment so they don't waste a trip. That did not happen. I made a follow-up appointment in 2 weeks. To ensure the same thing didn't happen again, I called the office one week later to ensure they received the referral and the person I spoke said they still didn't have it. I called my primary care's office and they confirmed they faxed it to them on April 13. I called Dr. Baldinger's office back and the office staff indicated they would call my primary care's office and obtain it. On April 26 I came to the second appointment only to find out they still didn't have the referral. They never called to tell me so I made a

I hardly ever do reviews because usually I don't trust them, but I have to make an exception for this one. Dr. Baldinger represents the best in his medical profession. He listens and decides the best medical care needed for your problem. He also is a good communicator and unpretentious. His staff is well trained and actually act like they enjoy their jobs in an environment that is usually filled with tension and unpredictability which is what patients usually provide. His practice is also independent in a world filled with corporate hired physicians. You will not be disappointed. So if you need a good podiatrist call them. You can tell them I sent you even though I don’t receive anything from them for the referral. Now isn’t that special.

Arrived on time for appointment to get toe nails cut. Waited almost 45 minuets to just get into treatment room. By the time the assistant finished my nails I had been there almost 2 hours. Assistant then told me I had to wait to see doctor. Waited another 20 minuets - no doctor so I just walked out. 20 minutes latter my phone rung and nurse informed me doctor had to see me to bill Medicare. I said I would return if he saw me when I got there. After a long hold, the nurse told me I would have to wait or she would bill me. I was billed not what Medicare would pay but that absurd amount doctors always try and charge. I thought that was vengeful. Just because I am a senior does not mean my time is worth nothing. Would not recommend this practice to anyone the exception being if your air conditioning is broken you may want a place to hang out.

Excellent: My family doctor recommended Dr Baldinger to me after I had a botched up surgery elsewhere. He explained things completely, he was easy to talk to, and corrected my bunion and heel problem with another surgery that was much less painful. I only wish I knew of him before I had my first surgery.

My brother saw Dr Baldinger yesterday and the doctor and his staff were excellent. The Doctor actually introduced himself to us. Could not be more pleased with the care.
