I haven’t even had a visit, but the nurse asked me about a dozen symptoms that could have been anything, which I did not have, and then said, “if you get those you have to reschedule.” So I asked, “so if I am sick and NEED a doctor, then I cannot SEE my doctor?” She said, “Oh we do telehealth.” Telehealth, is not healthcare. Can you look in your own ears for an infection? Can you palpitate your abdomen to see if your bowels are working correctly? Have you seen the poor clarity of telehealth conferences? Do you have the ability or tools to look up your noes and differentiate allergies from infection? That’s just a small list of what you cannot do. The response to that list was, “we have to protect ourselves.” Listen, if you didn’t know that the medical field had contact with sick people, you were misled. Otherwise, get a new job. You are a failure.
