He is a great doctor! He listens to you!
I had what seemed to be three or four health issues. He was able to figure out that they were related. He treated mw for it and for some other health issues. He is a very good diagnostician. My only complaint is he is very busy and hard to get into.

Patient looking for a new Dr.
Terrible. Reviews are OFF. Was his patient for approx one year and next appointment was scheduled for 8 months later. He does most of fielding appointments and visits from his home and has little sincerity nor care for patients.

Best doc in Rockford
Carlson-Dexter is one of the best doctors you’ll find in Rockford, unfortunately it is hard to see him when you need to. His NP is great though and when you are able to see him he always takes his time and listens to you.

Best Doctor !
The best doctor! It's really cool and refreshing having an approachable doctor who talks to you and not down on you. Every mile stone appointment for my daughter, he is informative and patient. He takes his time to answer my thousands of questions. He has a cultural competent practice which is very important! -Especially in Rockford! He is very booked very far out, but totally worth it! Despite being heavily booked, he does not rush appointments at all, and makes you feel heard all while providing quality care! I cannot recommend Dr. Carlson-Dexter enough!

I'm glad I took the leap to go to a doctor with no reviews because he was a solid 10/10. My OB (Tarek Harb) had nothing but good things to say about Dr. Carlson and I can see why. His sense of humor was amazing, he was thorough, kind, and overall very easy going. He took the time with my appointment and made sure all of my questions were answered and that I understood what he meant when answering any questions I had. He truly provided top notch care! I'm due with my first baby in November and he also does newborn care so I will be choosing him for my son as well as recommending my husband to him. It's so hard to find a GOOD doctor, and I think I just might've!
