The experience with Dr Jenkins went well. The staff on the other hand not so well. I was given a choice to have the procedure performed in Lenoir or Granite Falls at a new surgical site. I chose Granite Falls bc I live near the site. NOBODY told me about the facility fee until 1 day before the surgery. The Prime surgical site called and said $660 was due THE DAY OF SURGERY! I was also told the medical certificate that was needed faxed back over to short term disability couldn’t be filled out until the DAY OF SURGERY. I am now 1 week in recovery (8 days) and the staff still hasn’t faxed back the required medical certificate to my short term disability corp. I am without pay while I’m in recovery due to this. I called the office staff 5 times since the surgery. I had 2 returned calls promising me Dr Jenkins would sign off & this still hasn’t taken place. 8 days now! I left messages for the 3rd day in a row - no calls - nothing! I have short term disability threatening to close the claim due to lack of cooperation over the medical certification! This has been a COMPLETE nightmare! Can’t rest for worrying how I am going to provide for my family. Not to mention recovery with all this stress

Best Doctor Around
Dr. Jenkins is amazing and very professional plus a wonderful bedside manner. He takes time with you and answers all your questions and tries all other options before he choses surgery. This is the best foot doctor I have found in many years and he found my problem within two visits and was able to give me answers that I could not get anywhere else. I highly recommend him to anybody needing a foot and ankle doctor.
