Dr. Katz is more concerned with his ego than helping patients with their health concerns. When requested to confer with another doctor he was more concerned with who called who instead of what was in the best interest of the patient. Needless to say, he never called the other doctor even though he eventually said he would. He gets annoyed instead of trying to work with patients and doesn’t want to listen to questions and additional relevant information.

Dr. Katz is very knowledgable about the tests he wants to give you, but not very attentive when you speak to him, nor very informative once he gets test results back about what they mean.

Dr. Katz is a kind, caring, and dedicated professional. He worked for months to prepare me for surgery for a difficult esophageal condition, after other doctors had been unable to help. Thanks to Dr. Katz, I am well and able to live my life again. If you have a serious esophageal problem, I highly recommend that you consult Dr. Katz first.

Went to see dr Katz. He seemed knowledgeable. But that is all. Good luck trying to follow up. Good luck speaking to the staff. Basically if you are not an easlily diagnosed disease don’t bother. The arrogance of the entire office is unbelievable. We are in nyc. Find another doc.

He had knowledge of my medical history at our initial consultation and was able to start definitive procedures. Very impressed. Staff was most helpful. I feel I am in good hands.
