Not A Helpful Doctor
He was my doctor for a couple of years and when Covid happened, he pressured me to get the vaccine. I politely declined and then he got very upset with me and terminated me as a patient. I received a certified letter from Intercoastal medical and was banned from joining any doctor there. Very rude doctor

Rude, abrasive, and dismissive
I had such a horrible experience with this doctor. Did not care about any of my concerns and made me feel dumb. Do not go to him if you care about your mental health

This doctor is completely inept. He doesn't sit down to attend to patient needs, he's abrasive, and he acts as though your very presence in his office is a burden. Do not give this man your time of day because he will NOT return the favor. Is not accomodating of client needs, and is borderline racist. Don't waste your time with this rash, insolent sorry excuse for a medical professional unless you're looking to throw away your money.

Terrible doctor for older patients. My father had pneumonia for weeks without being diagnosed and has a very large cancer spot on his face which was bleeding and wasn't even noticed by the doctor after having been there for months. He is very nice but doesn't ask the right questions to encourage the very old to give information.

We had gone to Dr. Rubin for over two years having been new in the area. If you enjoy assembly line medicine then Intercoastal is the place for you. You sit with the MD and besides the nurse taking your weight nothing else is done. He never listens to your heart, looks in your ears, presses on your abdomen, nothing. It was like a short job interview. This organization in general is setup more like get them in and out as soon as possible.

I've been a patient of Dr. Rubin's for several years now and I've always found him and the staff at the Benevea location to be friendly and professional. Their practice is very busy and having to wait is a pain, however, they are always accommodating and courteous. There is a nurse at this office named Valerie Barfield, she was awesome! She helped me get set up for school by suggesting I get my flu shot while I was already in the office and generally talking me through the visit. Thanks Valerie!
