Dr. Phyllis Skolnik, MD

I'm so very glad that I saw Dr. Skolnik for a terrible rash. I was able to get an appointment quickly; she diagnosed my problem and prescribed medications that are taking care it. It took no time at all for Dr. Skolnik to put me at ease. She's experienced and listens. She's very intelligent and easy to talk to. She also gave me some life-tips, which I'm adhering to, that are improving my quality of life. I highly recommend her. Also, the office staff is very nice. The waiting room can get busy but she's worth the wait.

Very happy to have seen her. The staff was busy but friendly. The small waiting room was full. However, many were older couples that went in together. Dr. Skolnik seems very experienced and knowledgeable and to the point. She went over my medical history with detail. Dealt with my issue directly and checked for skin cancer. It was a fairly quick visit and I was thankful for that.

There was a great travel film released years ago titled Endless Summer. Well with this very friendly lady the appropriate title might be Endless Appointments. She is friendly but seemingly clueless about how endless visits for something minor is intrusive and frankly insensitive. I do not know if this work is a hobby for her but for those visiting it is not.

Staff was rude and incompetent. Waited an 1.5 hours for a 5-minute visit. Showed up and lab work wasn't even there and they were unable to obtain it before being asked to leave to only to receive a call later. I took my 3 1/2 year old daughter and Dr. Skolnik was very dismissive and seems unknowledgeable as to what was causing her condition. She continued to give me the same excuse as to why it was happening without an explanation and without being able to provide a diagnosis. She made no attempt to put my mind at ease with her course of treatment. Throughout the 5-minute visit, I had to provide her again with a complete family history as apparently she didn't note it in her chart on the first visit. To sum it up, second visit was a replay of the first only worse. I left just as uninformed about what was going on as in the initial visit. Will not be going back. Will be seeking a second opinion. Got more info from Google than from Dr. Skolnik.

Excellent dermatologist

She is kind and knowledgeable but i have seen her 3 times and had to wait over an hour to see her. Twice there was another person with same appointment time as me and another 15 mins later. She overbooks herself

She is extremely knowledgeable and kind. I was looking for an excellent diagnostician and not someone who was more interested in selling their line of cosmetics, and I found that in Dr. Skolnik.

I have been a patient of Dr. Skolnik for over 20 years. Today I was worked in due to a itchy rash on my face. When I called the lovely lady on the phone told me to come right over now. I was seen by the Dr. within 15 minutes of my arrival time. She diagnosed my problem and sent me off with explicit directions and prescriptions on how to care for my condition. I couldn't have asked for more dedicated service.

I had a great experience with Dr Skolnik. I was trying to make an appointment and I could not get one for over a month in every office I tried when I needed to see a doctor right away. She was kind enough to see me that day. The office staff were delightful and professional. Dr Skolnik was kind and understanding and explained my problem in detail. She is a dermatologist who is not set up just to do cosmetic treatments and facials.

Office Staff very poor. It appears that they are either new or incompetent. She schedules way too many patients for the same time period. The waiting room was full with over 20 people waiting ahead of me. No seats available. It is like a medicine assembly line. Absolutely want a second opinion!!
