Warning! Surprise Bill!
Warning: Surprise bill! Even if he's in-network, the office will bill you extra.Warning: Surprise tele-health from a foreign national.Warning: Second opinions differed. There's a reason it's easy to get into to see Dr. Barry. He's not worth seeing, and it seems like he's overcharging the suckers go.At Dr. Barry's office, reading the relevant medical history appears to be an upcharge. No other surgeon I visited charged me to review the Radiology report and or images that I brought with me. It seems to me that imaging review is necessary for the doctor to make a diagnosis, so I was surprised to learn that my co-pay to see him, did not cover the review of my literal medical history. His office was not receptive to my questioning and threatened collections. When I was taken to an exam room, there was an open laptop, with a remote doctor. I stated that I was not interested in that, and they said, 'Dr. Barry will be in shortly'. Turns out she was in a foreign country! HIPAA?

Excellent Experience - Achilles Surgery
I injured my Achilles tendon playing sports. I was referred to Dr. Barry and was able to see him within days of the injury. He was incredibly knowledgeable and helpful. He answered all my questions on the injury, the surgery and recovery thoroughly. He was able to schedule me for surgery within two days of meeting him. On the day of surgery, he visited with me for a while before the procedure and he visited with my wife after surgery to answers all of our questions. All members of his team were very communicative and resourceful with any questions I had. I would highly recommend his practice for your sports medicine needs.

Outstanding care. Had my shoulder done and could not be happier with the quality of care before during and after the procedure. My questions were all answered quickly and make me feel like I know what I was getting into for the surgery and recovery too. I'd never had surgery before so having the information I felt like I needed helped me a ton. Office staff were also really friendly, responsive and helpful. I highly recommend Dr. Barry and his team.

Dr. Barry is extremely helpful and thoughtful. He is very informative and takes his time to explain everything about what is going on and the best ways to treat. Although he is a very experienced surgeon, he helped me to find non-surgical options to treat my injury and at no time pushed me to do any kind of surgery the way many other doctors do. 5 stars. His interns are also quite cute.

First and last time I will visit this doctor. Its all about the money. I was charged $687 for a 2 min ultrasound on top of $430 office visit. Second office visit was $300 and an additional $250 to review the MRI scan. No wonder the health care system in this country is out of control.
