Not a caring MD. Does not listen to patents when they are telling them about her about their own bodies. Pushes off issues because she doesn't think they are a big deal. She is condescending and pretentious. She would be my absolute last choice in a physician to see. I hope we never have see her again. Thankful that there are other options available in this area.

She is really sweet and my daughter liked her. She was very thorough and took care of my daughter's problem fully

It is was bad experience That Dr.Abston is a doctor for my son who is 13 months old. From my experience she is never qualify to be in this position .My son has a fever , his temperature was almost 103 F. he was very sick.I never sleep until morning .I called UAB pediatric to ask for an appointment ,I asked if it is possible to schedule appointment as early as possible ..but I could not get appointment before 11:00 AM ...later She cancel my appointment,Also ,she told me you can go to the emergeny
