Dr. Piyush Poddar, MD

This was my first visit with Dr Poddar. I found him very much interested in my health, past, present and future. He immediately got to work doing tests others have failed to do in the past. I was impressed with that. I think he will be an important asset to my medical team.

His thoroughness covering any test results and making sure that my prescriptions are renewed when applicable, for example.

He was very thorough.

I think Dr. poddar is one of the smartest doctors I’ve ever Had the privilege of going to. He knows so much about so many other things that are wrong with me and where he should send me to have different issues taken care of. I highly recommend him and I’m glad I was sent to him in the first place.

Dr. Takes time to follow up and prescribe for the future. Willing to make next appt. I leave with everything discussed on paper. He always addresses my questions.

His office is quick, professional and doctor is very attentive, thorough and professional! He has definitely improved my quality of life in the past 3 months! Highly recommend!

Dr.Poddar was extremely thorough and explained everything so I could understand. He was very professional and made me feel comfortable. His staff was very nice and helpful.

He listens to your concerns and tries to address them in ways that are understood by patients without a medical background. He supports and refers you to the medical team who are your doctors.

Dr Podar and his team members are the only people in that whole entire group the hospital staff, etc. Dr Podar and his team are the only ones I would recommend. He’s the only reason that I continue to go there. He is wonderful the rest of the care facility not so much, especially the ER nurses Dr Podar top-notch!!!

I just had an appointment with doctor Poddar at the Southeast Iowa Regional Medical Center, West Burlington for a newly diagnosed Rheumatoid arthritis.I found him pretty competent and knowledgeable on RA. He is very precise in his explanation, maybe a little academic but he woke me up. At first I didn’t understand how serious is this condition and it was a choc for me but he turned the conversation positive and made me feel lucky to catch this illness at the early stage. The introduction of the proposed treatment is still questionable because the possible side effect are awful. Anyway the other issue is my insurance. Because he just moved in Iowa he is not register in the network of approved practitioners but I assume it is just a question of time for him to complete all administration paperwork inherent to a new position.Welcome to IOWA doctor Poddar

DR Poddar has no skills in knowing how to listen and interact with his patients. He can't comprehend what I was asking and saying and would not even let me talk or ask questions or state concerns. A very poor doctor.
